Any Z32 Mechanics in Suffolk (close to Lakenheath)
When are you about during the week? I'm no expert, but I know a little about these. May be able to help, may not. But I'm willing to give it a shot.

I don't believe there's such thing as a genius redneck

Starter removal
That's either genius or redneck :) :)

Starter removal
There is another bolt above the one you can see, the other side of the starter gear.

Starter removal
I can post a pic of one removed if it's any help?

Starter removal
Is that the cat heat shield in the pic, try dropping that off for a bit more room. Make sure battery's disconnected otherwise it'll be like bonfire night!!

Starter removal
I'm not sure how easy to get out on an auto, but it's heat shields and three bolts that hold it on.

Coolant Leak
Just out of curiosity, was it actually silicone? I've never used radweld or anything like that, but I presume it sets when in contact with air and then sets?
-
Starter removal
Nope, nothing will leak. And yes, that's the starter ;)

Various parts
Time for a clear out, I have various parts mostly oem mainly trims, deleted bits, a couple of ecu's, japspeed catback exhaust, intake hardpipes and indicators/ footlights. In various conditions. If there's anything you may need, let me know. I basically have a spare car, although there's a few parts I want for myself. ;) Offers please.

Coolant Leak
Looks to me like the jubilee clip isn't on very well, probably just take it off, clean the crap off and put it all on properly. I'm sure that's all it'll be.

Coolant Leak
Sfs, sell a silicone set of top and bottom coolant pipes. Apparently worth upgrading as I believe the lower pipe can collapse and cause flow problems.
-
Coolant Leak
The top pipe connects to the top left of the radiator (can be obviously seen), and the bottom pipe goes straight down, then across the bottom of the radiator and connects onto the bottom right of the radiator. As said above, needs repairing properly.

Conzult/ Datascan
What's the chip for with the cable?

Conzult/ Datascan
Where did you get the programme and the lead and rough cost, please. Thanks.

Conzult/ Datascan
What's the most reliable and cost effective version of getting conzult or datascan? I need to keep costs down and I don't have a laptop. I have seen an android version of Datascan, is it any good? I just want it for maintenance and fault finding. Is it best to get a cheap laptop and use that? There is so much conflicting and confusion on here regarding this, that I can't figure out what's best. Thanks

Cluster variations
Hi guys, There's a thread somewhere detailing the differences on the back/front of UK and J spec clusters. I've searched but can't find it. Thanks

KPH TO MPH Speedo converter
I'm sure that would be fine, however with the amount of problems I've read over the years, ideally I'd be looking for a UK cluster.
-
A rare find ???
I'm sure I have the same screwdriver in my kit so may be genuine

Speedo doesn't work
Problems with this tend to be the Solder in the back of the pcb in the instrument cluster, however as it's a later cluster I would suspect speed sensor or wiring.
