  1. Very nice. Not long had my latest daily also.
  2. Introduced the Zed to my new daily driver, I’m sure they will get on fine. :lol::lol:
  3. Sorry I missed your Birthday Joel, belated.. :happybday:
  4. Feel for you Russ, I really do mate. I experienced similar, and after threats of violence we were forced to move house in the end.
  5. Many happy returns sir, have a splendid day. :happybday:
  6. I think it will be the White 280 Si. I do not think you will like what they do to it mind. Shocking.
  7. Caught a glimpse of a 300zx whilst watching Goblin Garage today. Familiar to anyone?
  8. No worries sir, made me giggle. Something I could do with a lot more of at present.
  9. Thanks Paul.. :lol::lol: (It's Dave by the way) I take your point about the salt though Si, fortunately we have not had any salt down as of yet.
  10. Drove it to work in the early hours, first time I have seen my self reconditioned headlights in action. Very satisfied.
  11. I would be carefull going over the heated screen element, I think I may have caused two of my lower ones to fail.
  12. Look for 1000 wire wool, very impressive.
  13. Bravo that man.. If I can be of any help, just ask..
  14. Try not to cut away too many reference points, go about it in measured way. Otherwise you will not recall what goes where. It's so easy to cut it all out without recording how and where it all came from.
  15. Visible rust is a bit like an iceberg, another 80% may possibly lay beneath. Don't be put of though, there are many on hear that have salvaged a Zed with a bit of surgery. £300 sounds like a good price, but I can't see it stopping there. As Richard has mentioned, don't go anywhere without speaking with Jimmer first. Here are my exploits. Again, don't be put off, it was not as bad as it seemed. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/thanks-everyone.15465/
  16. Caught a glimpse of a nice Blue Zed earlier this week on Brandon road Coventry. Headed down Herald way, Pro tune by any chance?
  17. Ooooops.. :lol::lol:
  18. They will always be spinning to some degree, just depends on temperature conditions. When cold, they will revolve, but only due to light internal drag, (can be stopped by a heavily gloved hand, be careful mind) when hot however, after the thermally controlled internal valve opens and releases a silicone oil it's a totally different animal. The fan will fully engage and draw air at a noticeably stronger rate, (very audible) please do not try and stop it under these conditions.
  19. Well said Si, (Funkysi that is.) The forum needs more people with this sort of spirit, we can all get drawn in from time to time, but to publicly apologise takes strength of character.
