1. Taxed it! Roll on tomorrow.. :thumbup:
2. Solved my double misfire today, both on the drivers side. What a fiddly job! Couldn't pinpoint the cause exactly, just started with checking the injectors and then methodically checking connectors and plugs etc' Relief when I fired her up and all 6 cylinders were purring again. Happy days.
3. Cheers Russ, They have said that the odds generally improve for the second opp'. I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks time. I look forward to that drink and to meeting you in person, hopefully sometime soon mate.
4. In I believe. It doesn't take much mind.
5. :happybday::thumbup1:
6. Is it possible to swap the relays?
7. Sounds like you could have water affecting the MAF. You will need to check the connections under the nose panel. Also, you may need to check your air filters for water ingress. I'm guessing they may have used a power washer?
8. Well, initially Russ, things were going well, but unfortunately not for long. After a promising start, and a much improved feeling of well being, it appears that the surgery has failed. This is not unheard of however, the success rate is only 80%, approximately. So, in 3 weeks time, I will have to undergo more internal heart surgery. In the meantime, they have doubled my medication so as to try and manage the condition. Bummer. Hopefully you are fairing better, are you still on the mend?
9. It's amazing how some testers interpret the guidelines differently to others. Congrats on the pass by the way. :thumbup1:
10. Thanks Andrew. :thumbup1: I would welcome your advice with regards attaching the spoiler, and anything else come to think of it. I won't be doing it for a while mind, but maybe we could go through the process at Coventry?
11. Thanks for the info Si, :thumbup1: I'll be doing the same now, eventually. I have soooo much to learn. :blushing:
12. Will you be putting the rear spoiler fixing points in prior to paint? Mine are visible at present if you need any reference dimensions.
13. Looks like an impressive make-over in progress. Can't wait for the next instalment. Missing it dearly, but enjoying the new Merc. :) Nice.
14. Couldn't resist trial fitting my new spoiler.. :biggrin:
15. Hi Chris, you are correct, I have no intention of using different colours of glass. My mention of the tints with regards to Pilkingtons was for reference and overall interest for all. My dilemma however, is trying to be 100% sure of the colour of my own glass at present so as to be sure to order the correct tint. Hence my post #49 , as I have doubts that mine is actually tinted at all. Ideally I would like Blue tint throughout.
16. Latest news back from Pilkington is that they are happy about replicating my Blue visor section and the rest with a tint of my choice. All I need to do now is decide whether to have a light Blue tint or not before I order.
17. Feared as much, what a crazy design! Hope you have more luck with the heat method.
18. Still cannot convince myself of the colour of my glass, is it Blue or is it clear? It clearly has a Blue visor, but the rest of the glass looks clear to me. As I understand things, UK models were Blue? Couple of pictures below...
19. Not too familiar with this area, so apologies if this is a daft/offending question, (certainly not intended to be) but I'm guessing a good quality impact type socket will not fit? Limited access I guess.
20. Stunning wheels mate! :thumbup1::drool:
21. That's great news Russ.. Well done Chris, impressive club spirit. :thumbup1:
