  1. Which in car cam are you guys using to record track days ect and where are you mounting them
  2. The ecu can't just be remapped it has to have at least a eprom chip to beable to change the map, so if its still got the standard nissan one there it won't have been mapped, You'll need to get it socketed and have a chip put in like I said in my other post give Noz a shout he has lots of different chips/setups available, plus his work is top notch
  3. Give Noz a shout he's the man for all your chips and ecu questions He's in the traders bit
  4. Hmmm thanks everyone got a few ideas now, Cheers dublove some good info there
  5. I had some snap on gloves they lasted about a month before the seems came apart on the fingers, plus couldn't feel anything through them when doing fiddley bits
  6. Love it this is the sort of colour scheme I'm doing got all hoses ect, and got rear subby n that powder coated same colour
  7. I thought about polystyrene I also heard you can get a paint that helps prevent it but didmt wanna buy it for it not to work If I stop spending in the zed it will never get back on the road lol, I wish I would of boarded the roof now instead of using corrugated sheeting
  8. I've got a corrugated roof on my garage and its getting on my nerves, on the inside of the roof the amount of condensation that builds up is unbelievable it's drips everywhere n makes everything inside wet, Now is there anything I can apply to the roof to stop this, don't really wanna have to put a new roof on to stop this Cheers in advance Paul
  9. I got an eBay one from 800bhp meant to be heavy duty and for large cars, he said it will fit the zed which it does length ways but width only covers to bottom of doors so sill arnt covered, Plus it doesn't breathe so get loads of moisture build up under the cover all over the car lol
  10. Yea I've got a kit but doesn't get rid of the pitting, so not sure what else to do
  11. Hey peeps can anyone give me some advice on how best to polish the lips on my alloys? There already polished but gone dull also there's some pitting but no kerbing, what best to use and in what order to use them? Cheers
  12. Great news matey, it's hard just getting a job at the min never mind your dream job so well done
  13. Personally I don't think the pics do it justice it looks so much better in the flesh, lights actually look good
  14. Roof scoop is to keep the driver cool as its got the plastic windows that can't be wound down nor any blowers so this will allow cool air in
  15. Nipped over this morning to see Pete this car looks awesome in the flesh can't wait to see it out on the track, I'm sure Pete will pop some pics up of the whole car once he's got a min
  16. Things like rugular oil changes are most important, letting the engine warm up properly before giving it any stick, and that doesn't mean soon as water temp gauge goes up as it takes longer for the oil to get up to temp, Afr gauge is a good idea as is oil temp and pressure gauge, making sure you've got right water/antifreeze mix Turbo timers are ok but if you just drive steady off boost for last mile or so before turning it off is much much better
  17. Hope it all gets sorted this time matey, nothing worse than relying on garages
  18. Cheers Pete ill drop you a txt what time Saturday is best?
  19. Pete what are the grp seats like? Do they offer a lot of support, and how comfy/uncomfy are they with the little padding on them?
  20. Yep good one Jimmer forgot to say that the kits I've seen the restrictors screws onto the turbo and then the braided line onto the restrictors so even if you can only. Find kits with them just leave them out when fitting the lines - - - Updated - - - Yep good one Jimmer forgot to say that the kits I've seen the restrictors screws onto the turbo and then the braided line onto the restrictors so even if you can only. 21. They sell them on eBay, and also hose solutions do a kit, I'd highly reccommend braided hoses
  22. Lol yea water pipes will be crapped up aswell, The thing is with the oil feeds that when you've been out engines real hot when you come to a stop and turn the engine off the oil left in the pipes then to bake as there's no flow this in time builds up, With braided pipes there internal diameter is thicker and help reduce clogging up also dispense the heat a little better
  23. I suppose the could ideally they should be changed to braided hoses as they generally eliminate this happening, It only seems to be 300zx owners that only change to braided when upgrading there turbos All others like 200sx, skyline, supra ect change to braided regardless wether putting a standard or uprated turbo on
