  1. While building my engine I'm going to send my heads to be checked for flatness and have them skimmed if need be, now will the engineering company beable to tell me the head thickness ie how much they've taken off and if any has been taken off before so I know what size hg to get, what's the size of a standard head that's never been skimmed Also what thread size is the spark plug hole Hope this makes sence lol

  5. So I changed the oil today, still feels hot but not as hot as before, Now if its filling up and I stop it it will then restart with no problems but once it hits cut off pressure it won't restart after that, Today it filled up it tried twice to start but kinda strained then just cut out n stopped working again ill post up a few pics of motor ect
  6. Not sure will post up a few pics in the morning
  7. Mines a belts driven one 150ltr tank it does feel very hot, tried to check oil level but for so e reason can't find the level check anywhere
  8. Hi does anyone know anything about compressors I've got a problem with mine, Now if I've not used it for a day or so it starts up fine fills up ok but once pressure drops and motor tries to start up again it cuts out (sounds like its blowing a fuse or something)and won't work again for a day or so Don't know why but the motor will only work once a day lol don't know if its on strike or something
  9. We as a family earn about the same as you we filled it all in and they wouldn't give us anything, but we know people in the same predicament and they can claim If you ask me the whole system is bulls**t
  10. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to everyone
  11. Yea that's how I did it, I've also stripped mine out inside so could get to the rear arches through where the rear cards were, covered the whole inner arch with it
  12. Yea that's what I've used dinitrol cavity wax it's really good stuff used it everywhere I could get it lol
  13. Looking good matey, I did the exact same underneath looks so much better when done doesn't it
  14. I'm sure it won't as most are either on axle stands or tucked away until the one week of good weather we have each year lol
  15. Not sure with the 300 but with the 200 you can get a comfy Coilover with a softer spring rate but alot better than standard, but as said shocks and springs are a good compromise
  16. Can't really see the point as a good set of adjustable Coilovers would be better and less hassle The ones I've drove with Coilovers and adjustable arms ect handled really good, they have good stiff chassis with abit of tweaking are really good, as has been said a lot is down to setup and tyres ect
  17. Yea that exactly what I was getting at general driving will be very laggy
  18. Just going on my experiance on a 1.8 don't get me wrong keep it spooled and there great but if you miss a gear or get caught in to higher gear and there very laggy, But god it was quick
  19. Couldn't imagine the drive ability with a pair of 2871r's I had the 2876r on my s13 that use to hot full boost by about 4.5k so would be slightly more laggier on a 300, But then it's all down to how you drive them if you can keep them on boost most of the time it would be an animal
  20. You still gonna be running your 2560's? Who you getting to do your mapping this time?
  21. What sort of power are you aiming for dude?
  22. How do you guys find the brembo setup how much differance is it over stock?
  23. If it was me I wouldn't just replace the one bearing I'd do the whole lot at the same time. I'd also upgrade to acl bearings
  24. Cheers dude the eagle eye seems a good price
