  1. just dug out the old part from my kitchen drawer :) its called an AAC Valve

  3. not had it done myself but heard you can get up to a second off your 0-60 time ???? I imagine it would be louder when cruising ? less top speed ?
  4. cheers ollie - tried to protect the car as much as possible but very small grains of underseal have found there way onto my doors .
  5. not an expert but sounds a bit similar to what was happening to mine the actual idle control valve itself was changed to resolve it but like you point out there's lots going on , pipes , electrics etc :)
  6. what do people think is the best way to remove the 3M spray which has ended up on my doors without damaging the paintwork ? any tips appreciated :)

  10. like a few people have said and as you may have guessed that when we met I am mechanically inept , I am panicking at this very moment about my mission tomorrow with my Z of attempting to change my left headlight bulb :) last time I changed my head unit in my car I had to stop a fire engine I had to flag down a fire engine as smoke was billowing into the cabin. I read many posts with respect and awe at peoples ability and literally think what can I post to add anything interesting to this post :)

  12. From what I remember they were struggling to shift cars at the time. The salesman laughed at my offer and said something along the lines of I will give you 3k against this . Which is what I payed for mine, some-things are worth waiting for , for all the bits I need ....... yes you guessed it there's Barclaycard :clown:

Have been a little worried as I have recently noticed a knocking noise when I press he accelerator pedal slightly , Changed the oil , no bits in there , still goes really well , no change in temp , pressure seems ok . My brother took her out and says she is fine and I am prob being paranoid . Just seems' to me' that its not right . So if there is anyone knocking around today 8th and wants to have a listen let me know . :thumbup1: All sorted - thanks to Mr Lee Dent :thumbup:
