  1. Right then I had the car up on some ramps and overall the car is in really good shape for its age however there is some bubbling on the left arch and the right sill has split the paint . My friend is a restoration specialist and can do the work such as cutting out the rust and fabrication but has said that is I can get the metal bits it would be easier and less labour etc . So just seeing where I can get the bits and a rough Idea of cost . He has said it would be around £200 to sort it out but may be able to get it done cheaper if I get the metal bits .
  2. Just thought I would give Mr Dent a good review after collecting my car last monday . This is the second time it has been to him . I originally found out about Lee by chance when a gearbox conversion came up for sale on the forum ( Cheers Jaikai ) . It turned out the conversion was sitting at Lee's so thought I would ask him to complete the conversion and at the same time have a nose around my car and fit some decats at the same time . This has basically inspired me to keep the Z as its transformed the car . It went back to him a few weeks ago with a 'list of things to do' Fixed my air con belt as it was making a horrendous noise Fit my new lights - Many thanks to Phutumsh Cambelt / waterpump and associated parts Fitted some hard boost pipes - Thanks again Phutumsh :) sorted out an over revving issue with the idle control valve repaired my horn :) swapped my radiator / thermostat integrated my rear fog light fitted a new centre console t bar seal as it was leaking valeted for me to collect and a fair few other bits and bobs that he didn't charge me for He kept me up to date with pictures with all the work with regular messages . He has been great and makes my Z ownership a pleasure and a pleasure I can afford . I am not great at the mechanical side of things and also struggle with time etc . I have used other garages for work in the past and have been left without jobs completed . To me Lee has come across as a dedicated individual as far as the Z is concerned and his attention to detail is great , He goes that one further step to make sure your happy with the work. So If you live in the Midlands Lee and L.A autos get my Strong recommendation , Even if you live further afield its worth the trip - Shrewsbury has a train station Cheers Lee! - One Very Happy Z'er :thumbup::thumbup:
