  1. Have to say mine looked stunning this evening at the local shell garage when I went to get some wine
  2. Hi Folks , I don't post on here often . I cant comment on other peoples experiences but on a personal note I have to say that I have always found Lee to be exceptionally good , He has always gone above and beyond for me and I have always found his labour charges to be very reasonable. I am aware that he has had a lot on recently with regards to personal issues and although no excuse I can understand why people may have an off day and potentially miss things etc (were only human) I am also aware he has had staff issues with a few people coming and going which cant help. Luckily I work for a public organisation and am able to take time off if I am struggling in any way but as a trader I imagine this is very different. I encourage anyone reading this who any positives to say as far as Lee is concerned to do so as I imagine the positives outway any negatives . This thread all seems to be about the negatives , Please also bear in mind that it is in traders interest to discredit others for business (especially with a shrinking community such as this)
  3. Nothing with the Z today as Lee Dent has it for injectors and a couple of other things , I have re-subscibed to the club and received a lovely new key from Ian Greenfield :)
  4. I should have come to Coventry , loved all your pics Thankyou
  5. Yeah decided to go with some larger injectors , also have a weird vibration that goes when I turn the wheel right , also a lit up badge
  6. Just thought I would say hi on here , I have been lurking and watching more of the facebook stuff. Just renewed and thought I would reacquaint myself here , had the Z over 6yrs now . It's currently being seen by some dude in Shrewsbury, sure a few of you know him. ?. Hope to be a bit more active and hopefully catch up with some of you in person at some point ??
  7. Enjoyed looking at all the black Zs , very inspirational , been a while since I have been on the forum
  8. Thanks very much for the lift from Lee's back to Stafford the other day . Was much appreciated . Owe you one fella .
  9. Firstly I took it to Halfords to get a couple of goodyear f1s fitted to the front then we went to A-Line in Dudley to get my alignment and camber set up. Handles a lot better now
  10. Just wondered if anyones going ? Is it any good ?
  11. 175mph in the old girl (runway) , upgraded my front brakes after
  12. I think it may well have had a chip fitted in the past , I guess I need to have another search around for my 1 missing spark plug
  13. Hi Funkysi , I have 5 already :) , I think I want ones that will last a bit longer . I know noel advocates the use of these for tuning , I am only on about 14psi
  14. Hi folks hope everyones well , I know I dont post much but wanted to ask some advice :) I have ordered some spark plugs NGK and from the following advert: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230526710653?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AI I kind of presumed that these would do the trick as it said Z32 in the listing , I can only see a couple of people who have put them in there cars on here and nico and have heard that although they may fit they may not be great for the engine , possibly causing detonation . Also when I check on pretty much every automotive site it says there for the Z31 not the Z32 . So I have requested to return them so I can go down the route of the NGK that best fits the bill _ PFR6B-11B So I will continue to return them unless anyone has some real strong argument that these are worth keeping ......... I know about the cheap copper ones being good but want a longer lasting plug that is best suited to my engine :) (I have 5 of the copper ones sitting in my kitchen drawer)
  15. Very Shocking and Sad news , I Remember meeting Mandy on route to one of the only meets I have been to, Almost crashed when I saw her in Zebadee waiting to join at the roundabout on the way to the Bubble . Suprised she stopped at the side of the road for me but was an honour to arrive in convoy at the meet . I dont think I was carrying much money and I am pretty sure she got me a drink or even a meal . She seemed such a lovely person , my thoughts are with her closest at this time .
  16. Dont know if this has been shared , It mentions the Z Keeping hold of mine :)
  17. Awesome car ! had the pleasure of being in convoy with Roobarb to my first Z get together
  18. Mines a Daily TT , I dont live that far from work though  Used to be a weekend toy, I have much more fun now
  19. Hi folks , Sometimes (usually when cold) my speedo doesnt work and will then just kick in and work as normal , other times I will be driving down the motorway and it will flick up to 120mph (without me doing 120mph) and then read as normal again . Any ideas ? I did try to do a quick search but didnt see anthing .
  20. Not done a lot in 2014 , bit of a poor show from me , Hoping to be a bit more active this year :) Anything coming up in the midlands area ?
  21. Right then I had the car up on some ramps and overall the car is in really good shape for its age however there is some bubbling on the left arch and the right sill has split the paint . My friend is a restoration specialist and can do the work such as cutting out the rust and fabrication but has said that is I can get the metal bits it would be easier and less labour etc . So just seeing where I can get the bits and a rough Idea of cost . He has said it would be around £200 to sort it out but may be able to get it done cheaper if I get the metal bits .
