My 600ninja was pretty quick for a first timer as it had had a few tweeks. They do get a jog on pretty quick and could see how people can get out of there depth. Personally I consider myself a safer biker than car driver although I do have a habit of doing shoulder checks when I drive now.

If I were you I would get a cheapish 600 as my first experience following me passing my test was doing a simple manoeuvre which ended up with the bike falling on me :biggrin:

Welcome and good luck in finding a good Z. I wanted manual and leather and then found one with cloth and auto with under 40k on clock and could not it slip through my fingers. I will get a manual conversion at some point but am not unhappy with the auto box (makes me look good at the lights EVERY time) I also like my cloth interior although I plan to change this in the future.
