  1. Ended up phoning the chap I bought mine off (by accident) the other day. We chatted about the car and he said he had been looking around for a Z or similar for the summer but was struggling to find one in as good condition for the price.
  2. Anyone here? Typical that I was driving the c1 at the time
  3. No bloody ultimate in Stafford, just about made it to the tesco garage to get some 99. Pesky panic buyers using up as a last resort.
  4. women drivers can be awesome and also very lucky. anyone else remember this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WhZFRUcyw0
  5. I just need to get some skills first I think. So minimal outlook the better. I would be interested in making proper models though. Reason I may be moving to Derby is my Mrs is a community nurse and commutes every day from stafford. I fancy a change from Stafford and there are a few good jobs that have come up around Derby/Derbyshire. Maybe I can run some areas past you (Mark) If we decide to make the move
  6. I do appreciate the advice though Mark and know I am more than capable of smashing one of these duct jet things into pieces within seconds. I may be moving to Derby soon so maybe you should start getting some parts in now
  7. So U reckon I will smash the jet up? I have an indoor Chinook and am good with that
  8. I know its childish but I have never had one as a kid so I now need to get it out of my system. So any of you folks had any experiences with them? good or bad. Any recommendations on what to get first? I really like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-F22-64MM-CAMO-RTF-RC-RADIO-CONTROLLED-JET-PLANE-SUPER-PAINT-DETAIL-/230746479537?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item35b98fdbb1#ht_4355wt_1199 but is this biting off more than I can chew
  9. Welcome!! . In a Homer Simpson voice "mmmmmmmmmmmmmNoble" :tongue_smilie: Which one do you have? In my opinion the standard brakes are a bit mismatched to the performance of the Z. I have brembo gtr brake upgrade which does the trick. If you do a search on you can get some cracking brake set-ups for good money. Before any one else says it we need pics of the Z and the Noble :thumbup1:
  10. Sorry mine was through . Go-compare!!!!!! and Flux
  11. Just renewed my insurance from a classic which quoted £275 to a more regular policy for £255 fully comp. Also insured my fiancée on it and I can now drive other cars 3rd party. Quite happy with that
  12. Lol cant remember writing this :pint:
  13. Happy birthday to your daughter. Mine is 13!!!!
  14. I think I have standard and would prefer a stiffer type when stuffing it into a curve at silly speed so ---- coilover
  15. Its just not fair!!! my car is going to be a nice garden ornament whilst the c1 will be using more of the road whilst the Z sleeps until a nice day. What pisses me off more is that cars that have under 100 C02 have NO TAX. These cars still do 0-60 in around 9ish seconds burn diesel and have quite chunky tyres and pull on the roads more than my car overall. Quite happy to pay my share but feel I pay more and even supplement these eco cars ( which are not that eco, as mine uses allot LESS fuel, road etc etc) Maybe I should start an official petition or something. I am more than happy to pay the equivalent tax of a bigger engined sports car for my actual usage. (In all fairness I cane the C1 when I drive it and when I use the Z I take it easy)
  16. Its not fair the fact I have to pay more tax than my fiancée in her C1 £20 per year. She uses the car all the time and must wear out the highway more and generally must take up more resources than my car and create more pollution 'overall' . Fair enough if I used it as often but I don't. :cursing:
  17. Not bad for nipping down the shops
  18. My view is the Z is a stunning looking car and you can ruin it very very easily. Not saying that I don't like some body-kits and have seen some things that really do compliment the Z. However beauty is in the eye of the beholder
  19. Just showed this to my fiancée. "What a shame they've ruined it"
