Its only 31.94.It was for some 3D samsung glasses I sent on ebay and I am sure the guy recieved them. He was really snotty as there was a slight delay with postage and think it was his way of a punishment (not that I am paranoid) Just been looking at the letter again and it clearly states its as a refund of the postage paid and compensation for my loss. I will brood on it over the weekend. I think the think which worries me 'Karma' wise is that some poor f@@ker may get a black mark against there name or even worse. If I was selfish and cashed the cheque I imagine the worst that will happen is they ask for it back.

You sure the honking is your dump valves? Honking is usually valve's somewhere else which may well interfere with boost pressure giving you problems.

I recently complained to a courier over the loss of an item. They sent me an apology letter and a cheque which I was happy about. Thing is I have just received the same apology letter and get this 'the same cheque'. What would you do? :innocent:

fingers crossed for you. I recently found a load of pictures that my Grandad took in the 2nd world war. Some are a bit dodgy with dead people in. I am thinking about seeing if there worth anything as I can always scan them if I decided to sell them.

Isn't That a bit like saying I don't like to fly but stick me in a cannon and I will be ok . I am no mechanic but surely a turbo is more reliable 'overall' than Nos. I have had a number of turbo cars and never had an issue.

Don't think anyone can beat that Paul unless they have one held hostage in a box and bring him out once a year :biggrin:

She has only done 41000 miles. I use fuchs 10/50 ester oil. Always use ultimate although now on 99 tesco as they ran out. I also drive like a granny when cold and always let her cool down. I think the emissions could have been even better though as the battery was disconnected. Not forgetting the previous owner looked after it well so I don't really deserve much credit overall.

The feeling is relief that I don't have to spend any money. First time I have taken her through an MOT and have not done a great deal apart from change oil and upgrade brakes.

IT PASSED!!!! :2guns: 1 x advisory 001 Battery Insecure which I knew about. CO = 0.16% HC = 187 This was following the battery being accidentally disconnected. They said its cracking for a 20yr old car :clap: Thanks for wishing me luck! Good luck with yours Ken

Only problem I think I may encounter is the battery is not as secure as it could be. Watch this space :sweatdrop:
