  1. If it had been Shirley from Liverpool, she'd have swiped you wallet, Lol
  2. I absolutely agree with you there mate, well put
  3. So long as you're sensible & don't start doing aerobatics then you'll be OK. They show you how to get the thing on the ground in an engine failure situation which is about the worst thing that could go wrong. One of the tests you have to pass in order to get your licence is a Meteorology exam. This will help you to predict the weather short term & also makes you aware of other phenomena such as thermals etc.
  4. The first time I went up I was nervous, but you soon get used to it. Now I feel just as chilled as I do when I'm in the car. The best bit has to be the take-off. One minute you're on the ground, a minute later you're at 1000ft & the view is amazing! I'd be telling lies if I said I wasn't a bit nervous when I went solo though. It's a nice feeling knowing that you can fly on your own & get down safely :) I'm looking forward to the day when I can fly cross country
  5. Lol, funny you should say that, I was using Flightsim 2002 last night. I flew from RAF Woodvale to the Faroah's & then on to Iceland where I crashed into the mountains cos I hadn't checked the fuel!! Just hope I don't do that in reality
  6. Well, after 16 hours of flying with an instructor in a Microlight, I finally got to ditch the ballast ;) I was surprisingly calm considering the situation & I took off perfectly, the landing wasn't bad either  It's time to start looking for my own flying machine now to complete the solo hours :hyper: I'd reccomend flying to anyone, you can't top it :)
  7. I was thinking how great it would be to drive on the Nurburgring last night. It's 143 euros for 12 laps, 76 for 6 and 14 for 1 lap. What did u think of Sebrine or whatever her name was? Rekon she'd be hot stuff!!!
  8. Most are on an ego/power trip I'm afraid & shouldn't be in the force. IMO of course ;)
  9. So you're a bloke really then? :nelson:
  10. Oiii, they're not his sheep, they're mine
  11. Lol, It's a man's world if you're an ugly bird but a woman's world if you're not ;)
  12. My neighbour who happens to be a copper brought it to my attention in his usual condasending manner, :mac1: . Needless to say, I did fook all about it

Fookin Nora, you'd have to have long arms to steer the thing, look how far the handle bars are away from the front :smw: !
  14. I managed to get all the cars on the second one
  15. You're better off out of there by the sounds of it. Good luck in finding more work, sure it's only a minor hicup. Shaun

I'm glad the op went well, hope u'll be driving the zed again real soon. Shaun
  17. Lol, got done doing 97mph in a Renault 5 Tubby myself a few years ago! Great little cars aren't they, mine sounded like a dog barking in 1st gear, wooooof!
  18. 30K?!! that's not too bad when you consider what you'd get for that money these days.
  19. Check this out, lol http://www.irishmicrolights.ie/photos/qantas.jpg
  20. When you think about it, it's only an extra 2 cylinders. The V8 is probably only 2 valves per cylinder & therefore the heads will be smaller + there's no turbos either. It's probably actually smaller than the zed engine+ancilliaries.
  21. It could well have been black & it definately had Khan alloys on it! Made me wish I was in mine instead of the work horse (Peugeot 106 diesel :() lol.
  22. Think it was dark grey in colour. It had a nice sounding exhaust ;) Is it anyone on here?
  23. Lol, only just seen this!! I was going out with a bird from Gwalchmai for a while :)
  24. Who's the biatch? she looks a bit stoney faced, Lol. Seriously, excellent quality m8.
  25. I'm up in Lancashire a lot these days, we could make Preston our Paris? (anyone seen that cringeworthy advert? Lol)
