I get about 60mpg from my Pug 106 diesel. I've done about 20,000 in the last year & it's saved me a fortune! If I'd done that mileage in the Zed it would have cost over £1500 more in fuel! My mate has a new Fiesta diesel which does about 72mpg! It also has all the extras like AC, EW, EM etc.

Sounds like a complete knob who's crap at making any kind of decisions :rolleyes:

What will make replacing the gearbox easier is rotating it through about 70-80 Degrees before trying to slide it onto the input shaft. I can't remember whether it's 70-80 Deg clockwise or anti-clockwise looking from the back though! Basically, you want the flat part of the bell housing at the top. This allows you to get the gearbox that extra half inch higher. Once it's on, rotate it back to the correct position. Believe me, if you do this it'll save you a lot of struggling! Shaun

This is a long shot but does anyone know where I can get a fill in panel for my tailgate? Prefferably the one with the brake light + someone who'd be willing to post? I've been in touch with Luke at the Zed centre but he won't post it via courier due to the fact that 30% end up getting broken in transit! I don't have the time to drive all the way to Nottingham either. I also rang Nissan with the part number but the part they showed was something totally different! :rolleyes: Cheers, Shaun

Yeah, I remember when my young brother sprayed some lynx deodorant into a long cardboard tube (from a roll of carpet) & then lit it. The noise was similar to the light sabre Lol :dance:

Checked ecu & came up with code 55, so no obvious problem. I've also cleaned the connectors to the PTU & still the problem persists. Next step is to start swapping parts with my bro's Zed! Car really gets on my t!ts when it starts back firing, very embarrasing! :smash: I rekon my Zed's been faulty for more than 50% of the 5yrs that I've owned it :rolleyes: This is my 3rd hesitation fault & everyone has been a pig to fix! The 1st one turned out to be a dry joint on the fuel pump control PCB! Took me months to find that one. The second was the AFM.

I've watched a couple of episodes of the Professionals on men & motors & TBH it''s not as good as I remembered, just lots of dramatic music & unnecessary handbrake turns Lol. Minder on the other hand is still funny :) , so gets my vote!

I totally agree, if the mother had drummed it into them 'not' to have sex till they were old enough, they wouldn't have done it! Have you noticed how it's always the young tarts from housing estates that get up the duff at early ages? It's rarely people from working/middle class backgrounds.
