for 'regeneration' to occur you have to get a few parameters right. It'll want a high soaked temp in the exhaust/settled water temps/might want you at constant revs above idle- So motorways do have a use!! Different regeneration from each manufacturer I'm suggest(On Nissan you force them & you could plug-in and read if the regeneration has or is occurring) -BUT the difference DPFilteres make to you is when you never see a diesel pulling away trailing a black cloud of soot. ever again. and thats Brilliant :)

I Think you'd be OK to sit and yak when in a pub sometime Zedzilla. just as long as we hadn't had to many. cos we're just guessing at the future. yes Zedzilla :) . My view was shorter-term ( ignoring LPG cos Ive never been involved with it)Yes water/and hydrogen cars must be the far future. sorry to report.. The Future is diesel. - due to 40% (of a barrel)of crude oil can be made into diesel. Against 6% petrol.[speaking roughly cos space is limited] now diesel particulate filters rule, the publics lungs are saved. And the daftest thing!!! the game is all about emissions but the more intrusive the emission test the worse the MPG . true enough its a bit backward in the emissions lab. -expect to see small capacity petrol turbo's. stop start tech everywhere. diesel sports cars. cars running round with two batteries because the electrics are paramount. curb weighs always rising. ( survey says the public will not buy a car with handle wound windows)

why not. life can be short so have something you like. I get the impression Dazvert has good access, or works in a body shop too. he did a great job of repairing an M5 I think I recall. Some fella has the mega-wave spoiler (^first photo on bed) looks like he's trying to hard to disguise his old granada. certainly gets a car noticed tho. I have a 95 spoiler you can add to the collection too if you fancy it. could be a laugh. I'm thinking you could have the best shelves EVER in your house. :)

I have seen all my dials 'lose power' momentarily before whilst trundling along. figured it was a loose wire/dodgy connection due to crappy install(imported car). hasn't happened for ages wheh-hey! but- unhelpful temp gauge hasn't indicated signs of life for a while now. I put that down to the guage being a teenager.

LeoE.. who are you??? A regular at wakeMK??? :) I built that rainbow rail in that lake. The Zed is there alot... but season is over now. I'm not riding thru winter, except one quick ride at Princes to try their new rainbow for a bit of comparison- still, enough Wakeboard talk.
