  1. one of my cars has had a previous plate transfer. Its not so easy to follow or find out why, is it.. I suspect somebody put on a personal plate then took it off again but I am not exactly sure.. but all is ok if the DVLA says so (as they are the ones handing out the fines). wouldnt buy a corsa either any which way- remember the joke billboards ads : picture of a corsa with the words "show the world you know nothing about cars"
  2. gotta say I think Cyberbeams reply is the funniest so far.... I cant beat it.
  3. Allrreeet, Capt Dancefloor! gunna give the glitter ball some in celebration?..I'll bet a big shiney penny that you'd enjoy that more than a round of golf in this weather. -You could stay at home and give it another polish (if the misses is not around)I suppose.. Andy can watch..hahahahaha. Happy to have met you, you big hunk of love machine!.. I now wear sheep skin cos I want to be more like you. TRUE STORY. Happy Birthday!
  4. just joking but.... Vodkashots..... "I've owned 5 since 2008, and only ever ran into one other 300zx on the road" - I hope you stopped and said sorry. :)
  5. not so much a turbo reply, but I like the car and feel it would look Ace if you had side skirts to lower the centre of the car to match the level of the bumpers at each end. I've seen spoilerless 300's with deeper skirts etc and really think they are the mutts. but opinion is personal and I except being told otherwise :)
  6. the long main strip just pulls out/off.easy.. go easy.. it could snap if its aged. it shouldnt be glued in...... .. I have noticed that mine is somehow shorter after refitting(wasnt cut) so left an inch gap in the top corners once it had settled after a week... but filled that with a dob of black silicon.. so, no reason you cant use the strip again.
  7. its not that blingy.. it doesn't come polished like a shop one would. I will chat with MrC tommoz and see what date he's likely to send you stuff, and it'll be in the box if I can. What the hell! will let you know.
  8. Hello there.. the battery clamp is not an MOT fail... some may put in( or should I say, lack of it) as a note in the advicements.. but thats more like a nod to owner incase you didnt notice and incase you are the type who speed up for bridges. OK , concerning you getting one for free from me... Its easy to make you one I've been thinking. The bars I can make from some M6 studding so you can fit any size battery you like, and then I'll just trim and hook the ends. The cross member can easy be made from a peice of titanium.. thats as flash as I can be...If you want the original part only instead that too is fine.. its yours but..How are you going to get ya hands on this item? I am willing to do the above for no other reason that I can. Sadly I am not willing to trapse to the post office and spend my own cash to send it. If ZX-tt reads this and will do the posting cos he's post office bound anyway, and, or, if you can slip him the fee for postage- your a winner. If you come to bucks and collect it- your a winner can't think of anything else?(but willing to partake in anything you can suggest) what do you think?
  9. I'd phone them up. They may wish you well and let the check stand as admin error and let you cash it in the hope to secure your future business. Guilt free cash! -if they want it returned I'd counter & I would destroy it. Nothing lost. Talking.. so much better than writing (gulp!)less chance of a slip and things are instantly clearer I have found.
  10. sorry about the rep. I do realise it is important to a trader.. but the photo's you posted.. there was no info.. no nothing. It confused me.....ermm.. could I suggest you add 'zedworld' to your moniker somehow. - and I purposly refrained from mentioning who was the 'badman' I just wanted to know if I had such a rare car that this was quite normal. I took solace from Daffy' reply. Pabs.. he steadfast refused to hand back any cash so I am tied. It seems it might be over soon. two more weeks should do it ....hahahahaha -rubbish.
  11. Yes Big C you are correct, but I cannot get my money back from somepersons, pretty much forces me to wait until they supply the part. So thank you for the offer but I'm truely stuck for now........ ... and yes, I am surprised they have not jumped on you for an attempted sale...hahaha.
  12. Yes this is nothing to do with ZEDWORLD. I concur. I was just looking for some wise words from someone. Thank you for explaining about the bizaar photo's. glad that makes sense to me now. I was so baffled.
  13. To be honest I dont really think I am dealing with mega-cowboys but this is a tale of woe. It was Feb 13TH 2012 and I ring them up hoping to find the illusive part. They say they can help. It was explained it would take 3 weeks to be despatched cos it was being sourced from another country. I said OK ( I felt I was running out of options) They explained how they would take the card details to hold on to so the did not end up with this part if I were to backout. They explained a handling charge of about £10. it was really £17. I place the order to find I have too add on the tax, another £35. They took the money immediately. - That is not what they said they would do. I did not flinch. 6th March. So sure enough I E-mail them, simply, "any news?" next day I miss their call. day after they ring again. I return the call to get the bad news I dread. They could only get half the order. The other half (just half is no good to anybody) could be in another country. I give them my permission to try and complete the sale, stating I want to know either way by the end of the week so I can be free to pursue other avenues. They say "ooh we will know by tomorrow. We will let you know day after at the latest." 25th march. At this point they do something totally bizzaar, and unwittingly start posting pictures of parts I require telling me how good they are... on this forum... on my very own thread. - You could not make this up. Incredible! by the 26th March... Nothing.. Absolutely nothing. I send an E-mail, simply, "any news?" ....nothing. No reply. 28th march I leave them an answer phone message clearly asking for the return of my money. Next day they send a message saying they cannot ring any of the numbers to contact me. They do this by sending a txt to my mobile phone. The txt also states they are getting one, its in America. Just like they said 3 weeks ago. I do not actually believe they have one. I do believe they like my money in their bank account. can get and getting are not I have got or this is yours that you paid for a long time ago. I have found the part elsewhere and I just want my money back.... Is it always like this? Am I being unreasonable?
  14. eerrrmmm Daffy, Mate, do you remember always telling us about a squealling noise when you applied the brakes..? anyhew.. I lament your loss. Zed ownership aint such a straight road I'm discovering.
  15. have sent word to Andy Ish.. cheers for you help everyone. One way or tother, I might just get her rolling again yet!
  16. Hi. I am currently struggling to find a clutch for a N/A manual. they aint cheap either! Read in Gonzo12c for sale list the above part.. a box modified to take a (cheap and plentiful) TT clutch. Can anyone lets me on to how or what is done? Cheers.
  17. kinda curious.. are you stating you weighed one corner at a time?
  18. yeah well it is variable.. mine was wiper deleted too. no trim. nothing except glass attached. good luck.
  19. Groover is being a Top person.Again. and for what its worth I second his advice... I somehow feel compelled to add.. the nut ontop the fuel sender looks like its designed to be un-done by hand and if your lucky -no need to read any further .. but no doubt it will be a bugger to unscrew. do not 'chiesel' it around as this risks breakage and snaping [think of this task as very similar to swapping the heating element in your home water tank] it needs to seal well when put together after or you car will stink unbearably every time you fill up . Use massive plumb gribs/ stilsons or even a G-clamp if need be to gain purchase..just dont strike it.
  20. ..and from the NorthEast.. like kinda near Newcastle???? hahaha yeah there is a place nearby where they know a thing or two about Nissans.
  21. hahaha.. yes Nissan only do chain driven cams..except one dodgy car the made for a laugh years back :) check the adjuster is not stuck..have ot out and check for scores.. the micra had a long term problem with the thing (should I tell you that?) being noisy and not seating well with the the steps being jumpable.. its a mechanical tensioner which was cheaper that a hydaulic one.. tsskk.. bloody cost downs.
  22. percentage wise, cooked Pasta(depending on which wheat) is what, 7-8% protein. Thats plenty.. and its the type that does not stick around and keep you erhumm 'warm' Avoid rice tho.. not enough... beware of which types of protein you consume tho matey.. protein OD ( again talking % of food intake)makes you constipated.. I'm sure we are all rooting for ya &of course, easiest way to lose weight is to knock alcohol on the head!
  23. google Camskill. or if link is allowed.. lets find out... http://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s302p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_16%5C_inch_R16_inch_-_225_50_16_225_50_R_16
