  1. are the seats identicle since our Jap friends are on the whole slimmer?
  2. I know you converted to miles in the next post but I am just reaching your 130 figure and I DO mean Miles, on £30 worth. loads of town stuff included. short journeys and full warm-up before driving:confused1: wish I could help you. maybe your car is a little tight and engine needs running in some more :whistling:
  3. there is... bigger rolling radius(wheel size). easy!
  4. looks like my mates steering wheel from both his 200sx'
  5. sounds daft I know, but a worn therefore dragging/sticking throttle cable can be fuel expensive. who changes them for new????
  6. its a royal mail van and its only because it bears the ensignia of the queen. (extra points for the reason I think!) :)
  7. appropriate changes & assistant team-leader. OK thats it. I promise.
  8. After gaining temporary employment I was advised the criteria for getting a full time contract was as follows: arhhhhh on a trip with the letter Y there..oops... swap for above
  9. I had the time so I thought this was...erhum..better, without totally erasing the 'you' factor....best of luck to ya son!
  10. love audacity. you could swap to soundwave if you have thirteen more hours in the day to make proper use of it.;) I've noticed a lot more 'extras' are avilable on firefox than IE8 (if you want those extras). but they all run sameish speed these days I'm informed so....
  11. try Shabbington. I think its called the Old Fisherman (how many pubs can they have?) Its just off the 418 which is a HOOOOOONNNNNEEEE of a road if you get a good run at it to Oxford. its also just two or so miles outside Thame which has fat twisties all around it. My personal Bike fave ( so some slow hairpin-esque corners)is Thame to Stadhampton .. or.. Thame via Long Crendon to Islip. Stunning car ripper.
  12. the idea is not to release fuel and vapour everywhere.
  13. important if inside a garage.. release the fuel pressure (use fuel pump relay if no consult available) then turn over until no firing occurs. remove plug/fit tester. measure compression with throttle wide open/ pedal depressed on a cold soaked engine. repeat first cyl again to check. if result is not the same, scratch readings and repeat all six. That is the Nissan intended method. Hope that helps!
  14. from day 1 I've thought to remove my rear spoiler, a horrid Jap spec 95 version ( the 'horseshoe', is that right?). your pictures have helped me decide. thx. and the rear wiper is going same day I now think, so double thx for the unintended assist, Sir.
  15. I answered(3)top speed knowing few vehicles hit top speed on a track due to length of straights.- I think "its not the destination , it's the journey getting there." is good advice to apply to just about anything.
  16. I swap music with a mate and my MP3 files have to be converted to be played on his Ipod and vice versa. And maybe [say, 25 tracks a pop] its his laptop but it aint exactly instant. not even close. -Hope you dont need to, (stereo spec dependant) but I suspect that's what you'll have to do.
  17. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/NISSAN+300+ZX/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-240-4294966338-4294966789/advert.action?R=201051375711043&distance=18&postcode=HP224BD&channel=CARS&make=NISSAN&model=300+ZX&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=1991&vehicleRegLetter=J above is the auto trader ad.. its been available for a long time. recognised the pic straight away ( its only a few miles from here.) to cheap to be true with that shiney skin.
  18. all I see are seats and wheels and features wanting a new home... where did you say this was again?? ;)
  19. a slience button.. now theres something to try and fiqure out. - I left the boot ajar and got extra beeps anf flashes on the open/closeing, thats why I'm after features to look for. Thx to all :)
  20. First off, Hi to you all (this being my first thread!) There seems to be a lot of Knowledge :helpsmilie: and bad jokes  on this forum and long may it continue. I was just curious - does anyone have a Toad key fob with the 4 buttons? Mine has v.faded print on the bottom 2 (open/close)and pressing one of the smaller top ones allows ignition after delay I have found. Yet I suspect there's more to learn...any thoughts?
  21. just a thought, but is the seat and the gearstick top as you had it (since they look great compared to the steering wheel) have they tarted it up/ hidden something? my point is that they could claim an 'admin error' for the ad mileage whilst actually be selling it displaying the real 100k+..we all know they do this cos it gets punters on the forecourt.- don't try hanging them until you know for sure it's happened. :) again..just a thought!
  22. no... not me. I thought green was rare! feel so dirty common now. doh! :)
  23. yes, been around for a while but the Zed is new in town. '95 darkgreen manual n/a all orig. I'll introduce myself on the day..cheers.
  24. yeah I'm deffo gunna be there cos ( to quote a good old beer ad) "I can see the pub from here"- I really can.
