  1. un-beeelieeeveablee. hahahahahahahahahaha.. yet still somehow still waiting for someone to mention buying something off e-Bay thus allowing us to solve this perplex pickle.
  2. hahahahahahaah should I be [a]worried confused or [c] putting the parts back in the shed. - atleast they are nicely packed now! :-)
  3. handing over money to our goverments it makes it all better and we all can live none-guilty lives as we,ve paid our "earth repair tax I liked this last line... considering the Government only give the people what they ask for and do what the masses cry out for.. then have to raise funds/taxs to pay for it all... surely we should not be against governments and certainly not scientists or even the hacks who write about them but we should unite against the problem which, in my words, is being stood at the back of a very very big crowd trying to be heard, but you can't because all that is infront of us are noisy scared sheep.
  4. abs air bags and stuff would all have a tell on the dash in the form of alittle light... plus I was kinda coming from the point that if nothing changes you were not using it and did not need it and would be wasting moments of your life finding out. But good luck..
  5. "Have you tried turning it off and on again" :-)
  6. I have that film.. its an original for sure. I like the method they use with the drawing/crayoning over the original picture. thought it was professionally done. ( I should have another look tho its been a while) Keano Reeves and Winona Shoplifter makes it a cult type of movie (read:stoners classic).. but say fella.. roughly when in minutes in to the film is this apparition you speak off?
  7. I am gunna risk some cheeky advice here.. Next time simply unplug said item .. and whatever suddenly does not work..BINGO!
  8. Have you tried turning it off and on again? hahahaha, yes, I am a fan of the IT Crowd... hahahahahahaha best of all you did.. and it worked!

  10. either.. when the windows are down, the black part with the stooppid looking slot that is left showing. ..sooooo ugly. Rubbish! or what everyone else basically says.. more room around the engine. so things(something/anything/please) can be unbolted.
  11. so what are you trying to say.. that your car is faster then a speeding train? brilliant! nice colour too. congrats.
  12. yeah, its not worth the hassle I realise ( but they have no rights to bugger off with your bike I assure you). but thats not what the thread in about so.. I have seen covers on bikes in london that have permit pockets. , so they do exist.. can you not laminate the permit and glue it to the cover permanently. A cover only lasts a year in sunlight and so will the permit I guess. some of those crappy anodised ally tax disc hlders are screw together types, which in turn is bolted to the bike. Thats quite solid _ as whos going to make a massive effort to rob a property specific permit.? you not getting along with the neighbours????
  13. you do have a non abs NA. it skids easily as I showed you when you bought it! :tt2:
  14. just a thought. if you cover the bike the only people who can remove the cover legally are you or the police. I am unsure about council traffic wardens but rent-a-wardens in private car parks cannot tamper with your vehicle if it is to expose the registation or for any reason.
  15. this is getting a bit old. any news?
  16. hah, yeah. quite a good one that. gotta say tho, I had a simpson once and it was not great - takes away soooo much peripheral vision. ruddy good fit tho.. and the fire retardent neck lining was better than any scarf.
  17. thank you JaiKai. no drama.
  18. bank transfer using the account and sort code SORT CODE : 30-96-97 ACCOUNT : 02506459
  19. is this perhaps connected as to why I remain a 'user' and have not been updated to a 'subscribed member'. Sent the money a week ago.
  20. haha yes, my targa's dampen the front seats only too ( or did) and the rear hatch leaks and fills the back of the boot( again did but its not about me).. so i kinda have two questions.. 1- do you park on a gradient.. and 2- are your back seat passengers incontinent ? :-)
  21. just a thought.. an engine is not all you need.. fuel is one thing. I know the tank should be sealed well but thats doesnt mean it still is in an old car that's had a few owners. its a fifteen min job but I would check the petrol tank and remove a sample via the pump access. ( dip a tube/hose pipe in, to the bottom and put ya thumb over the end before withdrawing it. put that sample into a clear bottle and let it settle) sorry, I know little of your woes.. hope that is relevant.
  22. I'd change my green paint for blue.. replace every silly little part made from rubber...I'd work ram-air alongside a nitrous injection ( no turbo's) ...change the LWB to a SWB (shortening the whole vehicle :-) )... redesign the boot so it can hold more than a rucksack...titanium exhaust, C-Fibre panels & bumpers & prop & interior...gullwing doors...reversing camera with sights... the front screen trickery from a focus cos bouy they demist & defrost quick...swap wheels for some that cannot be put on backwards...and somehow lighten everything everything everything until 400Kg less... taller 1st gear and closer ratio's... widen the track so the wheels look right... galvanise all carbon steel parts before refitting , including the shell before they paint it.
  23. Hello . Now I am lucky enough to need to take my sump pan off for a bit of the old welding treatment/patchwork. Question is ( I have looked in horror underneath the car on little ramps) can the sump be removed or is this an engine out job? ..and I will not be taking the engine out.. I will be ringing the scrap merchant. fingers crossed I can avoid that.
