I am having my Aircon charged tomorrow. However I do not have my inlet rubber intake pipes fitted. Will my car tick over whilst the Aircon is charged without them in place? Car won't be on the road until June so obviously they will be refitted by then.

Does anybody have a 5lb NOS bottle that they wish to swap for a 11 lb WON bottle ( x2), they are too big for my needs. Ta Sayers

Well, it wasn't really the sellers fault, I had to take it off the car as well, and it was zero cost, simply the seller thought it was A1, the truth however was somewhat different !

If you delete the Hicas. All you do is unplug one of the two connectors into the Hicas ecu. It's obvious which one as unplugging the right one will turn off the Hicas light

http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/tc/tc.html that was the link i followed,one very important thing is where to take the live feed from, it must not suffer from volt drop. the system will not work if it does, also. the standard spring type fuse holder supplied is useless, change it for a blade type, i had to after finding it kept cutting the signal out to the racelogic ecu.

or if push comes to shove, take a ride to sunny wednesfield and copy my install directly

another thing, are you following the install guide in the racelogic book , or the one on the nissan forum. and are you sure the ecu wiring diagram you are using is 100 percent correct

The systems are like hens teeth, those who have them do not generally want to sell them on, this is because they are so effective. That combined with the fact that they are no longer made will only make the units rarer and more expensive.

Hi, can anyone tell me which fuel line i need to tap into in order to provide fuel to the Petrol Solenoid side of my Nitrous install please. Better still if anyone has a piccy , I would be very grateful. I do have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator fitted, Thanks Sayers

yep , spot on , 3.5 litres , I did mine last weekend, ran a piece of garden hose through the engine bay and into the box , add a funnel and box oil and 30 mins or so, job done

In truth chaps, the mod is simple , but needs a fair bit of work, ill put the pics up on Friday, however in advance, I had to graft the ball of the Saab fitting onto some 90 degree copper elbows, then the other end I used the standard z32 fitting and grafted them together with solder, to finish it was ground back to make it look like a continuous arm, then sprayed satin black and fitted, To connect electrically , one wire ( black) to ground, the green wire connects to a reverse switch live feed, the red connects to the sampling fan ignition live. Job done

Hi, anybody know what the capacity of a manual gearbox is please, im planning to do an oil change and intend to go for 75-90 fully synthetic, any thoughts ? As its an old box I want to use the correct viscosity to produce smooth gearchanges should I be looking at another grade of oil ?
