  1. I have a Rev 3 3S-GE in my Celica and it ALWAYS fails on emissions lol. It's pretty common with that engine it will be 1 of 2 things. 1 - De-catted like you said or fried Cats 2 - O2/Lambda Sensor Most of the boys on the Celica forums just fire something called "Cataclean" through it and make sure you give it a good thrashing before the Emissions test. Personally I found a friendly MOT centre ;)
  2. Is there any other way to reset the safety boost fault code from the ECU apart from Conzult? I've bypassed the Det sensor just need the code clearing, but the battery off for a while method isn't working :/
  3. Quads aren't dangerous lol. Just have to use your bodyweight and drive them properly :p
  4. Nah only have a vented one, my breaker came with no bumper etc. on it :(
  5. Yea it all seems fine :/ The Veilside front end lined up fine and it's the front end of pbryant's car that I'm putting on now with is a standard 89' spec. Very strange! I'm at work just now but I'll get a picture of it lined up tommorow when I get home.
  6. No rubber panel lol there wasn't one on it previously
  7. Bout an inch to an inch and a half :/
  8. Changing from a Veilside front end to a 89 spec front end and after lining everything up there is a massive gap between the front end and the vented nose cone thing :/ Is there different sizes in these I'm guessing?
  9. I'm running this at the moment - http://www.templetuning.co.uk/greddy-e-01-profec-303-p.asp It's a lovely bit of kit and the display looks nice at night :)
  10. To be honest I think mines is insured wrongly at the moment lol. Good job it's off the road just now! Haha aye probably but even most other Scots don't understand our slang/dialect lol Rofl I don't think they will steal it but when I was younger I'd quite often wake up to some escaped cows in my back garden! lol
  11. I live in the middle of nowhere basically lol isn't really any car thefts or that in my village/surrounding area! Although it makes up for that in other crime haha! (New Cumnock) if you want to google maps it :p
  12. That's harsh! I meant to say by putting both my parents on my policy as named drivers it drops significantly, so maybe worth a try Rob?
  13. Must be something to do with where you live maybe N300TT? At the moment I'm 1600 a year but after some searching (my renewal is due end of this month) managed to get in the region of 1k with my wheels and that declared!
  14. Yea imported in 2004 dude. Funny you should say that Rob I am actually 22 haha!
  15. Well I've been running an Import Celica for about a year now so I've been getting used to the insurance lol. When I put in my registration they think it is a 2004 300ZX! So I decided just to put in the car make/model etc. and declare it a Jap import but got hit with those 2 options so wasn't sure which one to choose :p
  16. I have a Jap import zed and was wondering for insurance purposes will that be a Fairlady Z or a 300ZX? They have both listed on the comparions sites :/
  17. Work this one out with insurance. I'm 1600 a year for a 2.0 GT Celica, asked to change my Zed onto the policy... no difference in price! How do they work this out??!
  18. Yea mines is a Jap import and the paint code was in English :P
  19. Thanks guys I'll get in touch with Mr.F :)
  20. Personally bags of glue is my favourite of their songs lol
  21. Thanks for the offer Craig but I'd rather have new ones for piece of mind that they'd last for a bit mate
  22. Where is the cheapest place to get a set of o2 sensors? Saw these on eBay but are probably the type that last for a month and pack in - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Infiniti-G20-J30-Nissan-300-ZX-200-SX-Oxygen-O2-Sensor-/180580534448?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a0b7048b0
