PCV Bypass
How did you go about it SB? Was thinking of using the old PCV valves but getting rid of the valves out the centres then redirecting the the resultant piping elsewhere.

PCV Bypass
Thanks Silver just needed that clearing up before I go doing it tommorrow :)

PCV Bypass
Nah PCV that's why im asking if they are needed for any other reason apart from emissions. Someone who has already done so : http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=258533&page=2 According to this it's just the same idea as most older engines and apart from the need to reduce the emissions I see no other use for it. So I was thinking of bypassing and fitting an oil catch can instead. http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.281

PCV Bypass
Are there any cons of bypassing the PCV other than the emissions side of things? Not replacing something that put's crap recycled air into my intake if theres no need too!

02 sensor checking
I've been searching but to no avail! Can someone point me in the direction of a how-to change the O2 sensors on a TT more specifically with pictures to identify them lol

I'm in the same boat as you Coolq getting about the same mileage and using it as my daily driver. Costing me a small fortune lol :(

Conzult results/questions
Thanks Lymon was out at it this morning and reset it and brought the idle back down to normal. It seems to have a bit of a flat spot at the bottom end now so I've decided I've had enough trying on my own lol. Gonna try sort out time off from work before xmas or worst case after xmas and get down to Jeff if I can get it in! I'll give you a PM Jeff (y)

Conzult results/questions
I'm lost as how to go about sorting the throttle :/ Need to get a hold of a standard ECU as well and keep the JWT one for when im feeling the need for power lol. Also my o2 sensors are away... long story short how much would I be looking at roughly for all this rectified at Zedworld with you Jeff. I'll just have to treck it down the 260 miles with her :)

Conzult results/questions
Thanks for the input Jeff where do you think I should go from here as im slightly confused lol. I originally thought it had a chipped ECU but I changed it over for another ECU from my breaker thinking it was standard :/

Conzult results/questions
Went and met up with JaiKai for the first time today and got the Zed plugged up to Conzult (top guy, had a good look at his Zed's and got some ideas :p ). I will post up the screenshots later once Lee emails them too me but I have a question in the mean time, is 30 degrees BTDC a bit excessive for the timing? Reason I'm asking is I still have problems starting from cold and this could be the cause if it's far out, according to Jeff when I first joined the forums. Any help would be appreciated guys!

dodgy email about my breaker
My girlfriend had something similar to this when buying a pup and the guy turned abusive saying he was going to track her down and do things to her and her family etc. I traced the dude's IP to Tunisia when he was "selling" the pup from somewhere based in England. Oh if only you could meet people like this face to face!

Compression Test
Archie has a decent one Lee. That red boxed one from ebay is chronic, it works when it feels like it and gives inaccurate readings when it does work lol.

You know christmas is coming when..
I know when it's christmas not with a song but when the Coca-Cola advert comes on, you know it's about time then!

Insurance for young drivers
Insurance is a law of its own at times, my 1993 Jap Import Celica GT (not even a GT-Four) is the same price as my TT Import Zed but then a Honda S2000 (UK) is £1000 more expensive. I'm 22 btw and was 21 when I started the policy so I've no idea how they work out insurance these days :/

Classic Insurance
Thinking about putting the Zed on a classic policy what companies are worth a try with a modified car? Cheers :)

Prewashing
I use one of those old Cuprinol fence sprayers with concentrated jet wash liquid, leave it to soak and rinse it off with the hose.

19" wheels tire sizes
Plan on keeping the new Avon set of tires on my summer wheels and just putting a cheap set on my winter wheels. Just want to save my polished rim from becoming wrecked over the grit months. That way come next winter I'l have my wheels just ready to swap over again!

19" wheels tire sizes
My wheels that are on just now are running 235/35 front and 265/30 rear but I could be doing with putting my other 19's on for winter. The winter wheels are in need of a new set of boots, but im unsure as to what size to go for! What is everyone else running that runs 19's? Just now im looking at 245/35 and 275/30 on the principle of price mainly! Ideally I'd love 40's front and rear for them but at £240+ a tire

Det. sensor by-pass
Just a quick question as to if these resistors will be ok : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-x-1M-Ohm-0-25w-Metal-Film-1-4w-Resistor-1-1M-/120616182272?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item1c1548e200 Wasn't sure on the power ratings

Prob Vibration
Got a vibe coming through the propshaft, been under it and theres a bit of play back and forward as if there is a bush away at one end. Where abouts (apart from Nissan) will I pick up parts like this? Also saw someone mention a one piece prop at some point are there any advantages to this and how much are we talking for one? Cheers :)
