Black-zed

hi guys i need to buy front discs for my zed, 1991 tt jap import, all the discs i'm finding listed are 280mm, am i right in thinking these are wrong i thought tt fronts were 330mm?

shame it's easter weekend and i've got gigs right the way through

i got caught doing 32 in a 30 by a gatso camera in the west mercia region near ross on wye, which does not even allow for the 10% margin, that was in my zed with a kmh to mph converter on, i contested the ticket and stating i was under the 10% margin that should be allowed, they declined the application and it went to court needless to say i ended up paying the fine plus costs and points on my license

it definately had uk rear bumper fog lights fitted & oblong number plate, had series 4 (i think) rear spoiler and had perspex strip with brakelight (that threw me a little) but it was dark

spotted wednesday night was 2/3 car behind me from minsterworth heading towards cheltenham roughly around 6.30, overtook me on the longford bypass. i flashed you across from middle lane on the elmbridge court roundabout

just found him on the book of face, he has some pics of a black uk zed from a few years back not sure if that was before or after the silver zed

ha ha that was the very last meet i attended in the white zed, it went off the road a week later with what i thought was a failed starter, turned out the imobiliser on the alarm went faulty been waiting for a paint job ever since, i do like the spoiler on the white car was tempted to fit one on my black zed but opted for a fibre glass std version, maybe a 99 spec at some point

a few of the old southwest zeds on their my old white one with that horrid bumper i fitted back then, still got the car but it won't be coming back out with that front end!

+1 know allan who built the car personally think it looks great the way it is, that twinz bumper you are looking at makes me feel sick

you obviously don't realise how slow the zed world can move at times

typical i bought my ticket several weeks ago, see you on the sunday! i'll be floating round with my camera

i do exactly the same 4.4v8 range rover and i put £10 of petrol in every 2 weeks for circa 200 miles a week...............mind you i put a lot more lpg in!

i'll put myself down as a maybe, depending where convoys etc are meeting, it's close to a 3 hour drive for me though

uk they are like rocking horse poo, i had to buy some for mine a while back. only ebay option was bilsteins at £300 a pair, i ended up buying a set of kyb excell from z1 for $249 for a set of 4 plus shipping etc. that at the time was my only option i did look at stock shocks but as stated above prices on those has gone through the roof they used to be £55 a corner 6/7 years ago i think zed centre are around £120 plus vat

just throwing this out there to see if anyone can help. looking for a passenger side door mirror JDM spec preferably in black (if it's in 732 diamond black pearl even better) also looking for a pair of front door cards series 1 jdm spec mine have all the bottom mounts broken off so looking for intact cards, preferably if they have been recovered i'm looking for black vinyl or leather

defo zedworld, i'm in gloucestershire but wouldn't trust anyone else with mechanical work on the zed

used mine for the first time in 4 years on sunday, and was surprised it's still cold lol
