  1. I have the original sales brochure, funny how they boast about the big, LOW PROFILE tires [emoji23] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  2. As an owner of a newer Peugeot where they did absolutely everything to remove all of the buttons inside and relocate all controls to a touch screen I have to say I agree with Simon; no tactile feedback is a pain to drive with.! Always having to take your eyes of the road to adjust just a minor thing! Should I ever buy a 2din for my Z or any other car then it would at the very least have to have buttons for skipping songs, adjustable volume knob a mute button. But then again I find the little pocket under the radio to be a practical part of the interior... Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  3. Did some pulls on the autobahn when I went to Germany this summer and I managed to get it to a indicated 220-230kph which I believe my GPS showed as just over 200 maybe 205kph. I say managed because it wasn't easy and needed a lot of road... Warm summer weather, me and a buddy and a trunk full of baggage and stock boost levels... Funny how much the temperature has to say when it comes to making power, I remember it had a lot more poke once we arrived back in a cold and rainy Oslo Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  4. Tugboat? That's new [emoji23] okay it might not feel as light and nimble or flickable as a 200sx but then again it doesn't scare you to death with a skiddish nature when pushed to the limit, sometimes more bulk isn't a bad thing in that respect [emoji6] And as far as European z32 goes I believe there weren't a whole lot of options, they all where specced out unlike the US and Japan where a lot of things where options. And we stuffed my friend of 6ft5 in the rear of my 2+2 and he was fine! Well maybe not but he fit(kind of)... [emoji23] Usable rear seats in deed Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  5. True, but they're heavy so shipping is a bitch and import tax means it will be as expensive as buying something new here Don't think I'll ever need 170amps [emoji50] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  6. I see the z31 people are using the pre 2004 350z 110A alternators as bolt in upgrades also. Some swap the pulley but not needed. So that should work for us also Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  7. But that's more relevant to the Americans, UK might be different but here in Norway we never got any of the infinitis or the big wagons/vans or any other vg powered car, so finding one in the junkyard is near on impossible... I've compared the measurements and the width between the mounting ears on the diesel p12 is the same 81mm as the zx. The distance from behind the forward mounting ear to the center of the pulleys are also the same at 42mm. The diesel pulley is a v groove but they're both bolted on so a pulley swap "should" be an easy swap. The connector is also the same between the two and in nearly the same location. So this might be a viable option if one needs a 110A alternator. I'm putting in bigger speakers in mine and a subwoofer next year so I'm thinking of trying this. 8. I'm currently researching an alternator upgrade for my datsun and I came across the P12 Primera 2.2diesel alternator which is a 110amp unit with the mounting ears in the same position as the Z32 one, and the datsun one. It has a V groove pulley so would need the pulley to be swapped but it's bolted in so shouldn't be a big problem. Looks like the width between the ears is about correct too but I'm waiting on confirmation on that one.... Anyone else knows what fits? I've heard someone use a 350Z one?
  9. Can't be right? Mine is JN10RGZ32Uxxxxxxx. It's a 91 TwinTurbo Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  10. Sounds like a plan! Now I only need the money [emoji14] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  11. Don't need original as long as it fits the car, if there are any. I see plenty rails when searching yahoo Japan for "z32 recaro", but not for the speed, only the SR series, but perhaps they fit the speed also? Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  12. What about the seat rails? I can only seem to find bride seat rails online..... Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  13. As long as it keeps me in place when I'm going fast I'm good [emoji16] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  14. Nice to see someone focusing on the delivery of the power too, not just as much as possible [emoji106] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  15. Great. I can live with that, it's not like it's my daily driver. And I've found it helps to run the seat back before you get out to make it easier to get in and out of with those types of seats Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  16. I washed it, overinflated the tires, topped up the fuel tank and sent it into winter hibernation... Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  17. Bumping this, you say they are a pain to get in and out of, are they lower than the stock seats? I'm contemplating getting a smaller steering wheel because it hits my thighs but if the recaros are lower I might get away with it Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  18. Need to install that. Thanks for the tip Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  19. I had trouble yesterday ohming a good injector, there was a little bit of corrosion on the connector preventing the probes from making good contact. My multimeters lowest range is the 200range and it reads 12ohm fine. I did with mine, I have a atx power supply for a pc I often use for 12v DC stuff. Most testing of xenon bulbs and such but proved handy in provoking a fault in my injector this time [emoji4] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  20. Okay, well I'll need to get a set in black leather to match my rear seats. Those stock seats aren't very good for trackdays and general hooning [emoji14] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  21. Title pretty much sums it up Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  22. Thanks. Went to a classic car show today. Only z32 there, two z31's Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  23. Led daytime running lights up top and then retrofit a set of bixenon projectors in the fog lights for low and high beam Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  24. Painted a jdm nose panel and the stillen lip yesterday so had to fit them today. Color was of course much shinier than my car so had to polish it. Spent the whole day detailing it [emoji14] Sent fra min HUAWEI VNS-L31 via Tapatalk
  25. Had a friend of mine wrap the roof bars in black and also the part under the rear wing and I finally got to mount the Nissan and twin turbo stickers ?
