  1. Thasks guys. So the self tapper type.
  2. The blue fat booty car is pretty much finished, but i have a couple of screws that are needed and im hoping someone can confirm the right ones. I have screws lying all over but I want to use the right ones if possible. The first is a bracket/trim piece on the series 1 door card. Has 3 screws. The other is the cover at the back of the wing mirrors. Could be a push type screw. Photos would be awesome if anyone can help.
  3. Surely these lights aren't rare at all??
  4. Great advice right there
  5. Happy birthday andrew
  6. Someone asked on the Facebook post about THE but they hadn't yet replied. How much are the wiring specially ones Andrew?
  7. JASON FARROW - The Beast Probably one of the most famous zeds the uk has had. Jason's car is in my opinion, the best modified zed I've seen. He really put a lot of effort into the car. It won many awards at JAE and other shows he went too and generally won car of the show and / or show and shine award. It was also the main source of music at several JAE events. Jason still has the car
  8. It has, but I have a bunch of photos as was gonna put him up last. I spoke to his son not long back and Jason is doing well
  9. Ted The Zed - Gibster TT (Danny) Ted was quite a well known car and Danny did a lot of work on the car and had it looking very nice with a fresh red respray. Hed also done a lot of work underneath too. The car was sadly taken off the road and he had a custom Grey wide arch built from a separate car. As for what actually happened to Ted... I OWN HER and she looks very different now as people will see in the near future.
  10. I thought it'd be something like that for the locked when able to drive scenario. It's a sigma alarm mate. Gonna try and take the door panels off tomorrow if I get the chance. Appreciate the help mate
  11. On to the next stage of sorting the blue wide arch out. The central locking. This has 2 issues, not sure they'd be related at all but thoughts on both would be awesome if anyone can help. 1. When using the alarm fob, it's like it's the wrong way round. So when you turn the car off and set the alarm on, the door is unlocked, so I still have to then use the key to lock it and have the alarm on. Likewise, to start the car, the alarm fob has the door locked. Could this be something silly like 2 wires round the wrong way somewhere? 2. The passenger door does not lock or open with the central locking. This is both from the alarm fob and also doesn't do anything if I lock or unlock the drivers door when sitting in it. Any way to track down what this is! Like a solenoid, fuse or whatever. Any help would be awesome as it's one of the last things I need to fix.
  12. 1. Craig 2. Alic +1 3. Lee and Neen, possibly Chloe
  13. Cool. The is mate. Let me know how to send you cash. I had already bought the zcentre ones, but since I have 2 cars, I'll take them if that's ok
  14. Thanks mate. Will get some from Z-Centre
  15. Need to replace them. What's best to get? These kind of things or stock (part numbers would be awesome from any of you smart people) https://frsport.com/?target=products&product_id=15339&currency=GBP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9rmM4L-W2QIV5BXTCh3hPwtHEAQYASABEgJnHvD_BwE
  16. Found it and all back to normal. 10 amp 'meter' fuse in case anyone is ever looking for it. Dis find this page in the service manual quite useful for what fuse goes to what
  17. I have a problem with the gauges / clocks all of a sudden. Issues appear to be: RPM - dead, not working at all Oil pressure - dead, not working at all Boost - going all the way to the righ (+14) Consult port also seems to no be working all of a sudden too. The speedo was already dead, which is what I was looking at, I basically plugged another set of clocks in while the engine was running when this happened. Same issue on both sets of clocks. So I'm guessing I perhaps blew a fuse or something. Does anyone know if there's a specific fuse that these sit on?
  18. ARTZ2GO - CHRIS here's artz2go's car. Will always remember the first time I met him and he had a full on beer ceg (in a smaller form) in the car for the weekend. Chris had a great sound system which i believe was put together by Mark Derby for him. Then all the interior trim etc was done by one of Marks friends in a nice fresh white. Chris put a lot of cash into the car but sold it around 3 years ago. It also boasts a nice triple chrome plenum that I sold him, those were very rare and costly as normally chromed plenum would always pitt up
  19. Nice one. Good post Andrew. Can this be made a sticky / in the FAQ's
  20. They are just fitted in a box in the loft :lol:
  21. The whole car needs a good clean. I'm debating on putting a veilside on it. But not sure how well they'd fit
  22. Thanks mate. I painted the rear mesh today too. Definately a further improvement!
  23. Will be doing that! Just gonna paint them though.
