  1. So have some made up? Or does someone just sell them
  2. I will evenuatlly. I just don't know when lol. Money isn't so much the problem... but I don't want to pay skyline tax which just seems silly here days. Plus th car is more show, than go so more thinking what's realistically worth it for the little use it'll get
  3. Pete said the same to me too
  4. Are the pads and disks the same between the 350z and R33 brakes
  5. I'm already on there mate... Just never actually go on. From what I understand, the rear is more difficult to do
  6. Sorry, so its just drill out the hole on the hub? Ah, well that's a piece of cake :)
  7. That's what I have on the black car
  8. Its more that I worry I'll balls it up lol
  9. Just sell me yours without the skyline tax, and upgrade lol. - - - Updated - - - Doesn't the Z33 need you to drill out the fixing holes or something? I just worry I'd balls that up
  10. Probably worth giving a little more context on this and thanks for the response. So, when I got the car, it had no brake pedal feel at all. Nothing! It was thought to be the servo due to it looking terrible (and it really did when I got it!). I therefore changed the servo (what a PITA getting under the dash) and I've also changed the BMC too. The fluid has been completely flushed and is all brand new but I then found the calipers were seized as you know. I've bought the Big Redd caliper rebuild kit that you suggested previously. The disks look pretty decent apart from a little surface rust off the cost just sitting around for years. So I think in general, the other components should be decent now.
  11. This sounds interesting. Thank you. The car in question is the blue wide arch one which has 19" wheels. I'm not really too sure what you mean by making the spacers to stand the calipers away from the hub centre toward the outer circumference of the disc. Sorry if I just sound dumb here!
  12. Thanks dudes. I guess they'll do for a while though until I find some decent brakes at an acceptable price right
  13. I know. See I would ask people to pay that way if I was to ever sell stuff, but I'd have been gutted I'd done that and sorted it out. Not to worry though :)
  14. Can't really do anything given the sale wasn't an ebay sanctioned sale mate.
  15. Not that many will still have stock brakes but, how good are they? I'm going to rebuild the calipers but I'm just wondering what people think as to how good they are
  16. Just to give an update. The item was bought through ebay as such, but after the listing finished and paid as gift - So I made a balls up there!!! I did contact the seller who, if I'm honest, didn't seem to know they weren't what they were advertised but he wouldn't give me money back sadly. He basically bought them as spares for his own car so I do believe that he wasn't aware but if it was me, I'd have sorted the matter out hands down and given a refund upon taking the calipers back. But I'm good like that and don't think I could live with thinking I'd ripped someone off, regardless of whether it was an honest mistake which I believe this was. Anyway, it turns out that these are Peugeot 406 V6 Coupe front brakes. Shame that I'd bought new pistons and dust covers and that. Hey Ho!
  17. Looks good mate. Why was it a pain to fit though? I managed to get mine on fairly easily although it wasn't glued on at that point due to me after the new car being built
  18. Just get a fight club section man haha. I haven't seen much either
  19. Thanks mate. This is why I was asking if anyone knew the correct hole distance for our cars. Here's the for sale item. No disks or pads, didn't really need them as I have some brand new gtr disks and pads in the shed which I bought for the black car which has gtr brembos (it's not back yet though). http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=132206787975
  20. Yeah, I found some 406 one that look similar too
  21. This is my point. They look slightly different so I'm wandering if there was a couple of different calipers
  22. Thanks mate. This is more of a question of whether these actually are gtr brakes. I'm not convinced they are to be honest
  23. That would be Great. Thank you
  24. Thanks Dave, I was meaning does anyone know the standard 300zx measurement
  25. The seal kit came with the calipers, but the larger ones were slightly too big. Sent them off to a brake place to match up some new dust seals but I didn't get the sizes
