  1. I can get this one at the top
  2. I tried that mate, but the only way it's straight, is when the Holes for the steering wheel line up with the wrong ones if that makes sense
  3. I can't just turn that bit at the back due to the screw position. Only has the screw bit opposit each other. Or do I just drill another hole?
  4. For anyone searching in the future. It's the middle prong. Got it working today but need the actual connector. I've got one hopefully coming soon from Lee Dent. It's the only thing it needs to be ready for an MOT now albeit the interior etc could be in better.
  5. Nice one mate. Glad it was a simple fix
  6. Zed meet in Scotland anyone??? Surely a few of us could pop up and try to sort the car out? These things are a labour of love but naturally family comes first. I'd be happy to come up and help where I can.
  7. I am coming and bringing Neen too. Doubt I'll be in a zed though but you never know! I'm also staying at the hotel on the Saturday night. Craig can you let me know the crack about food on the evening please mate
  8. Cant keep the bird out. Thanks mate, hoping to get it done soon - - - Updated - - - Everyone wants it Lol. The 89 spec with stillen will be on the black zed mate - - - Updated - - - Thanks Richard. I hope all is well bud
  9. No its a S1 car. Its on an M reg, but its a '91! The connector is a 3 pin one. So could I just run a wire between the horn button and one of those pins? If so, which pin? Thanks again.
  10. Ah right, so my steering wheel has a wire with a spade connector that goes to the boss (where that little screw is on the back. So in short, that connector needs to go into the bit of loom that's missing?
  11. Thanks mate. That's just how it came and i thought it should be moved but wasn't sure. And hadn't thought that much about it but now you've confirmed, I'll get it changed. Great spot bud! As for the wiring connector, no I don't have it as far as I know. Are they easy to pick up and do I need it?
  12. Hi dude. I have a Momo Millenium Evo steering wheel but I don't have the horn. So I bought one. Anyway, I don't seem to be able to get it to work so I'm after a bit of help. The car has HICAS and I'm pretty sure it's the correct HIcAS boss. There's 1 wire that's connected to the boss that I believe connects to the horn button, the button then grounds itself on the wheel. I'm assuming what's going wrong is the the boss is not touching whatever it needs to to send power to the button. Can anyone tell me what needs to connect or touch what to get it working please? Or tell me if I'm missing a component. Here's some photos of the wheel:
  13. Thanks Gary. Thanks Ali, always nice for any help mate. Regardless of how it goes. I did a search earlier and seems load have questioned it be the only real guide was for a car with an air bag. Will Mayby ask on here, several will have done it
  14. Hi everyone, I haven't posted since last year as the next post was to be number 10K so wanted to make a thread. Anyway, felt it was time to make a return. Most of you are probably on Facebook anyway so may have seen me on there. Anyway, a bit of an update. Black Zed Following the knock it had, I put everything back together but made the choice to buy a new shell as it felt like the all round best, and safest option. The welding it needed meant the engine would have had to come out etc anyway. So I bought a very low mileage car which many will know as NED the ZED. Note the name won't be sticking!!! The car only has like 54k miles on it. Rust free etc so felt like a great buy. Just gutted it's a S1 really. Anyway, the cars (original and new shell) are currently at dasstech as the new shell is being painted black before stuff gets moved over. In essence, it will be the same car apart from the colour will be an Audi Colour known as 'Black Panther Crystal Effect'. Given one of the side skirt were bust, I got car.mad to repair them as they seemed real rare and very popular. Anyway, turned out that they were proper original bonex bonneville ones which now makes sense as to never really seeing any others. I also had a stillen type III front lip to go on the car following my make the car better thread. So that's also going on. Blue Wide Arse I've had a bit of time off so finally done some work on the blue one and it's coming on great. To give a little history of the car, The previous owner had it converted to a wide arch and had the work done by the former traders on here - PPS. They were known well in the zedding world as they turned out many of the wide arch cars around. The car had a full interior retrim by a guy called KIsh up here in Sunderland. He's the same guy that did Steve300's green zeds interior (Ferrari Creme on that one). Mine is all black leather and blue alcantara, blue stitching and every the top of the dash was done. So you can imagine what the cost of that would have been. The interior needs a good clean to be honest given its sat off the road since around 2006-2007. It'll clean up. The previous owner had done loads of customer buttons rather than the more traditional pods for the aircon, lights etc. Although it was all out of the car; To be honest, I struggled to get away with it. This meant having to mess on with loads of the wiring as it's was all changed. But it brought the interior to something better, a little more stock, but certainly better IMO. Had loads of brushed steel type of look if anyone wants to see the earlier photos. Im still doing bits and pieces on the blue car but I think it's almost done if I'm honest. Just need to get some focus to finish it really. Anyway, here's some pictures of how it now is:
  15. I'll come... Unless I'm on holiday, dos I'm useless and don't actually know when it is.
  16. I don't think he got loads of replies. I said I was up for it, you said possibly, Paul said he would struggle with baby and work and Mark was a no. So it's me and Kev on a romantic meal for 2 lol Edit: I think there's only 6 of us in the group
  17. Sorry to see this mate. All the best bud
  18. I thought about that but, then thought, I want a nice stance lol
  19. ID love too, the problem is finding a set of these wheel, and then finding a set with the right offset, hard to find sadly
