is anyone insuring there import on a proper classic policy
I think on the driving other cars thing, it's important to check this with the provider as all companies are different and its not something companies always do (even on normal policies). People normally take it for granted that they can drive other cars under there insurance but isn't always the case

Injector changing
Can I mod put this in the FAQ's section or does anyone mind if I pop a copy in there?

You dont earn NCB on a proper classic policy. Even if they do give it, another company may then not allow you to use it

Newbie looking to buy a 300zx TT .......
I don't think you'd get a decent supra for that money at all. They hold their value well, especially after the fast and the furious came out in '01. I find that most people looking for a car in that league if you will, end up coming down tote supra, 300ZX and the GTO/3000GT. I know I did. For me, the mk 4 supra will always be the most popular but wouldn't exist if it wasn't for a zed (Toyota went back to the drawing board to try and match the nissans). Anyway, I agree with other comments, but I would want a compression check on any that I was going to buy in the future. That way you'll know more about what the engine is like. It would be worth trying to meet a code of guys in your area to see how the car should feel and drive. Buying a lemon could work out costly - I did that and ended up rebuilding the whole car (engine rebuild, new shell etc) so am now on my second zed which is real good. If possible, try to buy on here if there's any good ones come up. There's a thread in the FAQ's section on what to look out for when buying one. Good luck and welcome to the club mate

Al, it's good to hear that admiral (elephant) are doing a good job as far as the claim goes. Your premium will probably be high as there will probably be an open claim on your record with them until it gets sorted out at which time they should give you a refund. It might be worth you asking them (service dept) to tell you what the right price will be if the incident wasn't showing. That way you'll know how much you should be paying and what to expect as a refund later as it may be that the record still affects you (that way you'll also know that it hasn't been rated at all). I'd also suggest that once its sorted, you get them to ensure there is nothing showing against you on the CUE database as a lot of companies are checking that now as a standard practice. Let me know if I can help in any way. Obviously it's not admiral I work for but might be able to help on standard practices by an insurer or how the ombudsman might view a case as I work in that sort of area. You know where I am mate

eBay conzult cables
Nice one. So does anyone have that version? Seems stupid for them to have 2 options but I'm glad about that

eBay conzult cables
So it's just the freeware one you mean? I thought you said there were 2 full versions and 1 that would work with the other cables
