  1. Yup, think I might need one of them lol. t it easy to change?
  2. GET IT DONE - Im sick of coming back to look at this thread lol
  3. Hmmm. I wonder if I have that problem. Anyone got a video or the sound it makes?
  4. Are there any tell tale signs of yours being bust - apart fromthe car simply not starting lol
  5. Really cool that mate
  6. Yeah I tried that initially and they all seemed fine. Ill certainly have another go though
  7. Groover - how do I get to see other parameters in datascan such as the injectors like you mentioned? There's one of our members have conzult and he's happy to pop that on the car. If you could tell me what readouts I need from it I could get them? Thanks
  8. Right, update. I've been out and cleaned the throttle bodies with some WD40 and a toothbrush. I then unplugged the plug on the acc (I'm assuming I got the right one - yellow one). Now I tried the set the revs with it unplugged but the revs aren't very static so I got it as best I could. Plugged it back in, the revs went up a bit but it seemed a waste of time, the AAC is just the same and still doesn't remain static like it should. Anyone know why the AAC wouldn't be static?
  9. I made a video of the car at 2k revs so ill try and upload it to YouTube at some point soon (I'm only using my mobile for online stuff at the minute). Ill try and do the AAC over the weekend if the weather is ok
  10. Anything look wrong? I noticed the AAC moved from like 13 to 20 while still idling. Jimmer - what made you guess that its a manual conversion? Just sounded like you might have had an idea that's all
  11. Gutted to see this. Sad time indeed. I'm glad the club is sending flowers. If they weren't I would have also put in. Sincere condolences to the family. RIP Barry.
  12. Here are 4 screenshots. I don't think I can change what come up on the dials or know how to see the injectors - if you can tell me how to do it I will
  13. I'd be up for buying in bulk. I'd need a USB really though for my newer laptop. I could put it on the old one though if you can't get them
  14. I hate bad service - And Danny was always brilliant
  15. Where do you buy Conzult these days
  16. Is it the full software you have?
  17. Will do mate. Do you want a shot when cold and warm or just warm?
  18. Yeah it's a manual conversion. I have datascan mate, which field is the idle valve? If its the AAC, then it was at 16 or 17 when the car was up to temperature
  19. To be honest, think is one of very few places I visit on the web. I too love it here
  20. Thanks mate. If the mafs are the same, why do they have different codes on them? My battery is too week to do a compression test, it dies real easy so will do that once I get a new one :-) I'm thinking now ill try cleaning the throttle bodies, checking the AAC valve Setting the base idle again Clean the air regulator I'm assuming the best thing to use is brake cleaner or WD40 so all these things. Any ideas if there's anything better I can use?
  21. Right, another update... So I've been out and tried another MAF (my old one), the revs just went up and down - then up and down lol. Now I remember it was bust lol. The worst bit was that all the bolts between the MAF and the air filter sheared off.... Oh *****x!!! It's a good job that I had a spare brand new apexi air filter :) So I now have a new air filter on and have cleaned the MAF connection yet again. I also tried to take off the apexi twin chamber BOV's to tighten the springs as recommended by JeffTT ages ago. I got one off but the bolts on the end won't even budge 1 bit (anyone want to have a try, please be my guest). So after bloody ages of trying, I put it back on the car. Anyway, took the car for a quick drive and it seems better, no kangarooing but every time I've cleaned the MAF it seems better but only lasts a very short time. I'm starting to think I should try buying a new one to rule it out completely. I'll check in to let you know if it's still ok or not
  22. There's some Carrillo connecting rods and competition valves on eBay at the minute
  23. Well they are saying they'll give me them for the same price, but I only paid £144 for them. Not too sure what these ones I've been offered are worth.
  24. Thanks yewcheck, that would be awesome
  25. But they're a cheaper inferior disk though right? I don't mind putting my hand in my pocket for something better if they're crap
