Hi guys and girls , i have checked every fuse in every fuse box and all are fine , i have lost the battery live feed to the Radio , AC unit and rear fogs ....its a pain in the aris :mad: the AC doesnt remember where it was set every time i stop and start the car i have to re tune the radio set the CD player, set the Ac temp and when i turn on the radio the centerconsole clock goes off ....i have checked all earths and all are fine and not loose or missing , i think it may be a relay but i am not sure where to start looking for the battery positive constant 12v feed, any ideas people i have had this problem for months now and thought i would eventually sort it but havent been able to i am reluctant to run a new 12volt constant feed as then i would have given up and teh zed would have beaten me and we cant have that can we !!.... please help ......... cheers :cool: Steve

Hi stella had a similar problem on mine , is yours an import or uk spec ? if its an import like mine i found the speed convertor KPH to MPH was on the way out making the car think it was going much faster than it actually was ( the steering is speed sensative and weights up the faster you go ! ) changed to UK clocks and ditched the speedo convertor , all was then fine .....bypass the convertor and put it back temporarily to KPH and if the problem goes then thats the reason hope it helps Steve

does the cayman ( boxster coupe ) have the 911 engine 3.2 flat six , ...not keen on the boxster but the caymen has realy nice lines ..and is more of a bloke mobile than its hairdresser cousin

driving home minding my own business ..up along side me at the lights on red is mr Irish young guy ( pikey ) in his new red porsche caymen ..puts down his window and says ,,..is it faaarst? , fast enough i retort ..whats de 0 - 60 he says ....about 5 and a bit i say ....lights go green and he is off ...with me half a car length behind but along side him , into the red bit on the tacho grab second and its like he has gone backwards ...straight past him and pull three or four cars in front then into 3rd..next set of lights we stopped..windows down again ..aye roiyt its feckin fasst enough ...had ya in fust gear do !!....its the other four that count i replied ...cant stop smiling ........zeds rule and when i get my new tubbies coolers and 555's its only going to be quicker :) :dance:

just bought a PS2 formy kiddies to play with in the caravan when we go away for a weekend its a static van ( if its raining it will keep them amused ) i dont cause roling road blocks ,..chill you lot i could hear your teeth gnashing over here in kazakhstan .....just want to know if you could recomend any games that would be suitable and fun for a 6 year old boy a 3 year old boy and a 2 year old girl .........obvioulsy if its fine e wil be out playing football or flying the kite , or something with them , but when its lashing down in the lake district theres not much to do unless you are a duck .....any ideas cheers Steve P.S for those who know me and what i have just been through and are wondering what happened , well i am back on track with the missus ....after a great deal of thought and looking and thinking of the kiddies its best i forget and forgive and be a man and a father

Down by the foot well on the bulk head about half way up the wing level. I found (well krsmayo did) the passenger side easier to thread through as theres so much other stuff going through the drivers side. make sure to use a flexiable non permanent sealent if you leave a gap...otherwise damp and water may get in

had it fitted by Gregg and the guys when he did all the work on my zed ..was fine for a few months no probs and has now started to squeel ....i will try the talc and tighteneing the belt , i thought they had auto belt tighteners or is that just the cam belt ??

ever since i have had muy unorthadox under drive pulleys fitted the zed on start up will squeel like a stuck pig .....sounds like its the belts it only lasts a few minutes probably till the belts warm up ....is there any way of stopping this god awful noise or will it just get worse and eventually stay squeeling forcing me to attack the car basil fawlty style ???

an intercooler upgrade ( copy or not ) if your not running mega boost i wouldnt have though mattered Mike , it would be still an upgrade over standard, i can understand in your case with the BHP zedzilla is producing , but for my pawltry 320bhp i think babuches would be fine ....what do you think

they look similar because they are the same car re badged and slightly altered , they are a hooligan of a car ...a cheap M5 ..lots of low down grunt and can be easily tuned to produce over 600 for reletively little money.......thirsty on the fuel and tyres, but 4 proper seats and reliability built in ....i like them . they remind me of the lotus carlton in concept ..

report it to the police they could trace it with the info you have..as you said most probably stolen , but if they have knicked the twats who stole it then you have them to get your evil on their ass .............
