keep your fingers off the black painted bit surrounding the clocks its painted with a coating that shows up white , if its been touched , its to stop people clocking zeds i believe..so wear gloves or use a cloth to handle it steve

look good , rear tyres look a bit undersized in width and stretched on the rims though or is it just the photo ?

Have you checked your coil packs ?? could be the MAF also do a search on coil pack checking and see if you can borrow a MAF from some one ..good luck mate ( what error codes are you getting up from the ecu?? ) Steve

very true what you say .........and yes it is unfortunatley the way of the world ....i am entitled to my opinion as you are yours .they differ in some ways and agree in others that also is the way of the world. good you saved a zed from the scrap yard.. too many end up there ...too many get broken up and too many get trashed ...at least this club as other zed clubs have a common interest , to keep these cars on the road and enjoy them ...........but in answer to your question if it meant keeping the heritage of the car in tact and residual values up to keep "pondlife" from being able to buy them and wrecking them and i had the available money then i would opt for the dearer one and also buy the cheaper car to renovate ...........

got mine off Kirbz , a huge Border FMIC there is also a modified bar with it that the fogs still mount to so i wont loose the fogs or the indicators ..........just got to pop to kirbz to pick it up :)) when i get it i will post pictures so you can see how to modify your own to keep the front fogs Steve

single side exit exhaust ........remove all glass and motor mechanisms , central locking solenoids and cables , and change for perspex , get some magnesium alloy wheels .....buy kirbz lightweight wheel studs, if you have the money .......carbon ceramic brake discs .........

i wouldnt install a cat ......i would remove it ....they sap power ..!! and to be honest as far as lowering the car ....i would suggest just live with it as it is for a while before doing any modifications like lowering etc , yes agree they handle better , but stock Zeds with good stock suspension handle very well anyway without making the ride too choppy and harsh ..........good luck with your hunt steve

i supose its pretty labour intensive as the diff would have to come off i supose ...and then there is the setting up as the tolerances are very tight ...dont know if anybody in the north west will touch it ...might make a quick call to Andy Duff when im home :))
