GPZ 500 is bulletproof easy to ride and comfy , but if you can geta honda cbr 600 they are nuch beter built and will handle the daily comute much better .....also the kwaka has a habit of the carb iceing up and leaving you stranded for an hour while it settles down .....

has anybody tried to force draught cool their intercoolers ?? i read the Veyron has its intercoolers ( 4 of them ) cooled further by using fan assist does anybody think its worth while mounting some 12vdc fans behind the side mount intercoolers to suck air through the coolers , and if so what if any gains could be made , what are the figures for temp drop per degree / bhp ..any boffins out there ??? we all know when in summer the car does not perform as well as in spring and autumn as the air through the coolers is warmer ( less dense ) Steve

if your going to make it go faster the FIRST mod to take is make it stop...... get some big brakes and porterfield pads , smithy will sort you out im sure Steve

its a cracking 4 wheel drive work horse, and with 61000 on the clock its just run in we have one at work in kazkahstan and its done 390000 miles and is on the original engine and gear box , one clutch and two whell bearings only major failures ..... vauxhaul badged it but it was different animal to the lame frontera . steve

......well where do i start ?? with a big thanks of course .....to all those who offered starter motors, help, and tools ( especially Kirbz and his dad for the loan of the trolley jack ) .......starter motor is now in AND GUESS WHAT ....first turn of the key..bruummmmm vroomm VROOOMMM goes like a good un ...except for the squealing of the drive belts for the first 20 seconds..all is now fine and the sun is shining in my world :)) :hyper: :hyper:

the uk clock should fit but keep in mind that there are two layouts for clocks i think series 1 and 2 j spec and uk spec differ slightly ( gauge mounts points ) and you may need to remove or adjust some of the gauge mounting points to make it work steve

stock seats are about 20 kilos if that .....i have had them out and if i can pick them up they cant be 150kg im weak and old my knees are grey my teeth are plastic my hair is going backwards etc etc etc

re sit it it ie always easier second time around , that goes for most things except changing starter motors

i supose if you take off ALL the white vinyl crud from all over it and take that dead polar bear from the boot.that looks like it was killed in an explosion in the halfrauds ice section ..there is probably a decent car underneath

youll find the porterfield pads are great ..dont press to hard on the centre pedal if you dont want the rear speakers ripping out of their pods :)
