  1. You could check the flash codes to find out if you have the DET sensor fault, think there's a link in the how to section. its really easy. and then you just need to bodge it with a 1k resistor. no need for conzult.
  2. How are you getting the picture on? Is it vinyl or a really cool stencil????? I dare you to do the full car in it!!!
  3. I was thinking of going samsung when my upgrade comes around in November. i've heard good things about them.
  4. I've got a boost controller Greedy profec b spec thing, and it has two settings, low and high, high been at 14.5 psi and low been at around 9. and to be honest, i never change it, as its already been stated, just control the boost with your foot, the less heavy the less boost. I can't remember the last time it was in low boost. But i'm sure there must be other benefits of an EBC. what about been able to set up the gain etc, am i right in thinking that effects the lag?
  5. I've got the same as you Daz. I've always been with orange since my first phone (around 14 years) i was on pay as you go for years and then moved to a sim only contract (month to month) on the dolphin plan and i was paying around £25 a month, and then some sweet talker rang me up and said he'd do me a deal if i went contract (24 months) where i'd keep the same plan (300mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data) and pay no more a month and i'd get a free phone and he'd chuck in some phone insurance too. So i thought yeah, that sounds cool, i've no interest in looking for a new company i'm happy with orange, why not...... Turns out the phone i picked was awful (HTC Wildfire) i'd only read reviews online and i'd never played with one before but the guy assured me it was a good phone and it would do what i want. he did offer me the next phone up for a price of around £100 if i remember correctly, but he said there wasn't much difference. so i took his advice and got the contract. less than a month into it i realise the phone is awful and i want to change, but they said i'd have to buy one full price from them for the insurance to be valid, or wait untill November for an upgrade. So i ended up buying one from cash converters for less than half (HTC Desire S) After a while it occurred to me i could sell the other phone they gave me but unfortunately i couldn't find it (misplaced somewhere) I then realise i'm still technically paying for this insurance (although the bloke had done me a loyalty deal making the contract cheeper) so I thought i'd try and claim through it. but they told be the insurance was invalid because my simcard was in a different phone. So i obviously cancelled the policy saving me around £3.50 a month. Long story short, i wish I never took out the stinking contract, it was more hassle than its worth and I more than likely won't be renewing it when it eventually runs out. 2 years is a long time, sim only for me from now on I think.
  6. My mate used to have some on his ibiza, they kept on getting robbed and stuck else where.
  7. I'd love too, but there's no where else for it to go. I've already had a fine for a numberplate in the past other wise i'd keep it in the windscreen.
  8. Yeah he did the spoiler and the was going to repair the drivers side bu per where a big chip had come off. but he noticed that the other side was badly scuffed aswell, but instead of trying to blend in each side of the bumper he just resprayed the lot. it looks worse the more I look at it.
  9. Forgot to mention Thanks to Dave for sorting the spoiler out. I am happy with it. just need to finish it off now with some proper size tyres some coilovers and some wheel spacers.
  10. Got it back from the body shop on Thursday, managed to get it cleaned up and out for a drive today. Got my front bumper fixed to, but the colour match is horrific, don't think there's much i can do about it though. Managed to fit my bose speaker boxes yesterday too. took me ages, i couldn't remove the back of the seat so i couldn't get the trim all the way out so i had to just squeeze them in. couldn't get the amps to work either so may have to find out my little amp in the not too distant future. Managed to get some import size plates from ebay, think the front ones blocking my intake a bit more but it looks loads better.
  11. One day....hopefully.
  12. I always wanted a pet octopus.
  13. Its not that hard, in fact when I changed mine I didn't even have to remove the whole panel, i just loosened it off enough to replace the ecu. think you'll need a 10mm spanner/socket and a couple of screw drivers.
  14. Think I may have get the ky out...
  15. Excellent, Thanks very much bud. Pm sent.
  16. As the title suggests, it seems very sloppy and loose when in Neutral. goes into all gears fine but just feels less smooth around the middle. It feels as if a spring has gone. although it still springs back when its pulled to each side. Anybody help?
  17. Thats basically the same kit as mine. I've been trying to find a front too, failed until now, but no way i'm paying that much. Have you got any pictures of yours Lee? Thats the only other one I've seen apart from my own.
  18. A little to excessive for my liking, I was just hoping for a direct replacement. like the front sidelight ones.
  19. Thanks Daz, they also sell the rest of the kit too, but the front bumper is nearly a grand, and i'm doubting that shipped to the uk.
  20. Ever since Car.mad told me what my bumper is i've been trying to find a picture of the full kit but for the life of me couldn't find any pictures other than the front bumper. but finally I've come across a site that appears to sell them. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/carshop/10035439/ JDM to bits...
  21. As the title suggests, I want to change it for an L.E.D one. maybe the rear side lights too.
  22. every cable i've ran comes through the wheel arch grommet next to the battery. was the easiest place i could find.
