  1. this website stuff all sounds very confusing, I just brim the tank and then divide how much I've used by the miles on my clock...
  2. I only ever average about 19mpg, I tend to bottle it when the light flash's. usually about 220 miles from the top. I only ever run it on Tesco 99. Don't think I've ever got over 25mpg before. After reading Car.Mad's post after the remap I started thinking about going to see Noz, but I figured it's pretty pointless until I have both Lambda sensors working first... I'd be over the moon with that figure though Tom, and I hope the pheasant looked worse than your aerial.
  3. As already stated, I've never been a fan of that bumper, but with the black bit, the black bonnet and that beautiful orange I think it's pulling it off. the FMIC makes all the difference too. How have you tinted the rear lights?
  4. Si you must get loads of air miles. I'd love to go to the west coast, but flights are a fortune...
  5. Sounds like loads of fun, but isn't it frustrating knowing that you can't take your own?
  6. Yeah i'll probably be up for this, although it'll still be two tone.
  7. Yeah looking at hellraiser's I think they look class.
  8. That looks nice, do the lamps shine through ok? Don't suppose you fancy digging them out?
  9. To go along with my new front end, I was wanting to black out the indicator/side lights to give it the black moustache type thing like Andy's was Using the search function I came across some old threads relating to tinting the lights, and some talk from Si about UK spec standard tinted corners, and of course these bad boys http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?167638-Tinted-Indicators-Back-up-for-sale-!!!&highlight=tinted+indicators looking about ebay and from a previous conversation with Tony B I found these ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/90-96-NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-TURN-SIGNAL-BUMPER-LIGHTS-SMOKE-/141068602557?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d8580cbd#ht_4543wt_1122 But they don't look any where near as dark as I'd like, and then there's these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/90-96-NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-RED-TAIL-LIGHTS-FRONT-BUMPER-LAMP-REAR-SIDE-MARKERS-SMOKE-/141068607878?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d8582186#ht_4715wt_1122 But they look to come in a bundle with the other lights, and I have no intention of changing my rear's or them hideous side repeaters. I've messaged the bloke, hoping he'll sell me the darker indicators separately, just waiting for a reply. But I wouldn't mind having a go myself, just not sure what works best, film or spray? Currently I've got the crystal clears to have a go on, and I'm pretty sure I've got an original set with the fried eggs stashed in my loft somewhere.
  10. Yeah it's definitely not going back on, I'm sick of getting it repaired, that was never the question. I've got my heart set on a stillen lip now :tt1: I just thought it was a bit of a waste chucking it in the bin. I thought it was a Greddy one though Dave, not a wings west. :confused1:
  11. I'll take a picture of all the pieces, there may be a couple of gaps that'll need filling...
  12. yeah I think your all probably right, I'll take it to the tip. Ollie I do have the other piece, but it's not whole...
  13. I don't know weather it's just the hoarder in me, but i'm a little reluctant to just take it to the tip. Does anybody want it????
  14. Is that an Impul front bumper? they seem to be popping up everywhere these days...
  15. I'd have them seats, and the red dash, but the carpets and the red looking suede is going a bit far...
  16. Funnily enough I didn't even see this post....Or if I did I can't remember. Anyway it was a nice evening. Nice to meet you Si, and Lexx its always a pleasure. :thumbup1:
  17. Looks Tidy bud, I recognise them wheels from somewhere...
  18. I know a couple of guys with civic saloons, may have to narrow it down a little. I work with your mate Crocker too. There's some Honda meet in Hartlepool tonight, I'm been a bit of a rebel and tipping up in the zed, but we're all meeting in Majuba between 7:00 and halfpast. if your bored pop down.
  19. Me and my mechanic mate struggles with one of these for ages, it was ok getting the arm out, it was just getting it out. in the end we gave up, I paid a local garage £40 to fit it. Turns out though a year later the same joint's got a slight bit of play in it again :cursing:
  20. I'm getting one too, any chance of combining shipping? may save a bit.... MJP was my cheapest so far but I've been debating conceptz and getting an exhaust at the same time....
  21. Now then bud, welcome to the forum, I've heard there's a new one in Redcar from a few people, as already stated pictures are a must. There's always something else to be fixed on a car of this age, but i'm sure you'll sort it. I could pop by for a look if you fancy bud. As for your idling, mines always idled high from cold, or if its just off the boost. as long as they're not hunting i'm sure they'll be fine. The turbo oil leak is one of my biggest fears, and I wouldn't know where to start, but I'm sure someone will be along soon with the right advice.
  22. my boost controller is in the glove box...
