  1. Indeed it was a sad day, and a terrible tradgedy, but just keep in mind all may not be as it seems. [video=youtube;OfX-nGcBoa4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfX-nGcBoa4
  2. Yeah get it done Lee :cool2: I never even thought of that. isn't it the quod pipes that give it the nice burble sound though?
  3. Well Ian you'll have to put some photo's up when it's all fitted.
  4. I've spoke to a couple of places that could custom build me something, and one of them just openly said their back boxes would ruin the sound, (so that put me off) and the other one was going to be around £800 by the time I added on a joining center section, and there'd be no guarantee what it would sound like. So at the minute an off the shelf one is looking preferable. Excellent, have you got the kit fitted yet? any pictures? what quad exit were you thinking of? my problem would be getting it to still fit within the lower section of the bumper. I've seen a couple of mongoose for sale, and to be honest they don't sound bad, although I've never been inside one. but I think the tips look a little small? are they 2.5"?
  5. As some of you may remember, I'm having some exhaust trouble so was shopping for one, I'm basically still struggling to find one I like, but I was hoping to get some combined postage savings from the states when I get the stillen lip. so the favourite's so far are the B&B or the Labree, however the B&B is only in a quad exit, and the only labree one I've seen that I like is also in a quad, and although my mind has changed and I am now becoming a fan of the quad exit, I'm concerned if it will fit through my bumper, and not look sh*t to give you all an idea this is what my current one looks like And the only other picture's I can find are these two And they don't really help me, So if anyone else has an impul rear bumper (and I know there are a few), what exhaust have you got? and please post up some pictures.
  6. Turns out the bumper isn't as good a fit I was hoping for though, my wing was slightly damaged from the previous time I think so the bolt holders were bent and needed a slight bit of adjustment. but it still sits like this on either side I'm hoping when I get all the bits and it goes to the body shop it'll get sorted then.
  7. So here's a couple of shot's of the progress yesterday The piece that's on in the pic with the polystyrene and the fog light's in, does it hold any other purpose? i.e. if I remove the fog lights and replace with ducts like I plan, can I just remove this hole bar? or does it need to stay? the bumper was sumat cheep I picked up from a local scrapyard, it's not in the best condition, but it looked to be in one piece, a few scrapes and one big deep scratch but the guy was gentle taking it off and he kept all the screws, even the plastic clips from underneath too. so it was probably worth what I paid, and it came with another one of them bar things with one fog light in, and a wheel arch liner. any idea what this does, the new bumper came with one too, but the bloke wasn't sure what it was, he said it was air temp???? random picture I took, I forgot what my BOV's looked like... the old one came off ok, apart from me snapping one of the stud's on the wing managed to get a bite on the remaining bit though so it's got a nut on it....
  8. Yeah stillen lip, as small a number plate as I can get away with, and some blacked out fog ducts and indicators. It's going to be awesome!!!
  9. For those that missed it yesterday I smashed my bumper so it looked like this But today I've been busy and it now looks like this I'll update more on the progress as I go along.....
  10. I quite like it, it has potential. a play about with the number plate and it could be quite nice.
  11. Don't think I've seen it before.
  12. it's basically broke off where it was repaired last time.
  13. several pieces, I've repaired that bumper more than I've changed the oil so I think it's about time it goes. it's had a good run.
  14. Yeah I had a thing for the 99 spec one before I got this one repaired. but I decided to give the greddy one last life. I always did think mine just looked like it had it's mouth open a little too wide though.

  16. The intercooler is slightly damaged, but it's just the bottom fin, to be honest it may of already been there. I'd driven out onto grass next to a basketball court and when I came back off, i missed a drain. But the problem is, what do I replace it with?

  18. My own stupid fault, not checking where I was driving. I'm so pissed off with myself  :cursing: :censored:  :hang: Definitely not repairable this time, can't cover it up with duct tape for a while and then get it bodged, it is well an truly gone. I'm not even sure I even picked all the pieces up, indicator's ok, and nothing else is damaged, but the ****ing things only a couple of months fresh

  21. Splendid, I'll slip you an extra £20 then when I come pic up this exhaust :tongue_smilie:
  22. Unfortunately I'm not, but I'm sure someone near me will be so I could sort sumat out. Thanks Mikey
  23. Did you make them yourself, I really want a go, but I need a cheep pair of headlights first to practice on.
