Wheel refurb... 2nd set
Now my Gold Ultralites are not gold anymore its time to get the second set of 18"s I have refurbed. They are Fox RS according to the centre caps and are a proper staggered size( 8" + 9"). they fitted the 300Zx they came off without resorting to spacers. I quite like them but not 100% sure. anyway I thought I would do them in a similar style to the ultralites. IE .. Polished outer lip/dish and custom metallic anthracite centres... Ive started... so Ill finish...

lightened flywheel and clutch suppliers
Shipping from the US via Fedex is pretty quick. My main US parts supplier(for non Z32 parts) uses Fedex Int Economy. Normally on my doorstep within 5 working days. There are virtually no UK sources that have stock on the shelf. And anyone who does will have a limited choice. Uk sellers will have paid air freight and duty too and their price will reflect this.

So how many people want some of these stickers? :D

I run mine about half way down the decat pipe. About level with gear lever. Its horizontal and at 90 deg to the flow as you suggest.

Safest psi on stock internals
This forum over the years is littered with tales of woe surrounding old tired stock engines and boost pressure. The final sentence nearly always has the word "boom" in it.:hammer: You have bought yourself a decent car that should be the basis of a nice Zed with some care and attention to it. Why ruin it all in the first few weeks/months by blowing it up Well thats my opinion anyway.:winkiss: As you probably know i run an AFR guage on an engine that has NO turbos AND is fully mapped. It does however give a constant monitor of what is taking place in the engine and is re assuring. (Oh its cool too cos it lights up and the lights sweep round the outside of the dial like a fairground ride.):whistling: Worth fitting just to amuse the kids. LOL!!

Assumptions CAN be VERY expensive.. Having an AFR guage fitted in conjunction with a wide band Lambda sensor will allow you to monitor what is happening . So you can stay with a safe boost level and enjoy some hassle free motoring and peace of mind.

Japshow final
Depending on their ages/interests etc a Show day at Santa Pod can be a good day out. Action on the strip is in the main boring. Lots of us doing RWYb. The supposed "Pro-jap cars are a small group and not many provide any real spectacle.(less than 10 normally) HOWEVER if you and or them havent seen the Santa pod Jet car do a 6 sec run then that alone is worth making an effort to see once.. There are some other bits n pieces going on too that might entertain them for a little while. Stunt drivers. Monster Trucks jumping/crushing other cars.. Word of advice... ARRIVE EARLY.... GO EARLY. Traffic queues in and out can be a bit of a nightmare on a busy day.

Car not painted BUT.....
Oh! last time I went to JAE was before you joined the club.
-
Paint advice please
Etch primer is for application to bare metal only. It has an acidic PH to "etch" it on to the metal to assist bonding. TBH I dont normally bother as modern 2K primer had pretty good adhesion itself provided the metal is properly keyed.

Anyone got a breaker and going to JAE (jefftt?)
Just use a couple of the correct size spade terminals.. Job done. No more silly Nissan wire clips to lose!!! Add one small dab of black silicone sealant to keep moisture out. If I have one I will bring it tho.. need to have a rummage tomorrow.

SWB fuel pump location, plz
Thats a good idea BUT even if it has fuel coming out you really need to know if the system is developing the correct fual pressure to run properly. You really need a fuel pressure gauge to drop in to the line to check that.

FMIC or SMIC ? hmmm
Nope Ian you are getting confused. Bobs slicktop has side mounts and they are staying. Bob is talking about the 2+2 he recently bought . It has a FMIC as he said.

Where do you get your number plates made up?
I use my local Motoe/paint factor Std J spec rear while you wait .

More Help plz!!! Fuel pump constantly on even with no key in the ignition???
Between 9-10 will be good. Or in the afternoon. I have a VOSA VIC appointment on my repaired Z32 late morning. One of the joys of using the Emerald management is that you can do away with loads of troublesome sh*t that Nisssan fitted... like fuel pumpECUs
