  1. And I live in Langley Mill!!! I deffo wont pop along cos Im going to the Historic Festival Race meet at Donnington
  2. Its still too early/cold for DIY painting without a heated booth. Next month should be better. 1. Heat. 2. Clean dust free room.3. Big cfm compressor all needed. 4 Dont try water based stuff at home. so you will need a charcoal filter organic vapour twin mask as a minimum safety level. Pop n have a cuppa and I will talk you thru it all. Pain. Paper. tips , technique etc etc.
  3. +1 also tidied up in the workshop/garage. Dog needs walking too Its all so exciting innit:innocent:
  4. You have just been booked!!! Bring yer overalls:thumbup1: We have the tools etc Ear plugs might be useful too if Bob gets "grumpy":innocent:
  5. actually its the passengers that are awful lots of the time:yes: I use them a lot and all the time I see......... People who cannot understand simple concepts like ONE bag only in the cabin. That it needs to fit in a simple test frame of which there are dozens all over the airport.. Total failure to understand kilos and how a weighing machine works. Are unable to put anything in a polythene bag with a seal. Failure to understand that if you are drunk. disorderly or abusive to airline staff they will not let you on their plane just like I wouldnt let them in my car or house. Total failure to get the simple concept of no matter if you are first or last to board there will be a seat for you Etc Etc..
  6. Baz the first thing you need to do is change your negative expectation of the holiday. If you expect it not to be as smooth as previous holidays then it wont be. If you expect the flight to be a handful it will be. Family holidays are fun BUT they are different to holidays without children. My grrown up girls who are ages with you have been flying since a few months after birth. Just follow a few simple NEW principles for a happy family holiday. Choose a reptable Package holiday company. Fly to a short haul dstination. That will be spain for a first go. Pick a resort where its all on site or close by so you dont need a car at all. If you want a trip out then book a tour so you get it all organized for you while you sit in the sunshine and relax. Plan on spending lots of time just relaxing by the pool beach etc. Pick a hotel/complex where "Child activities "and assistance with supervision are available. You might not need them but its a handy option There are no reasons at all why a "family holiday" wont be a relaxing and happy affair affair for everyone. Flying with small children/babies is simple .... its the parents who cause the "problems/stress"
  7. If you are looking at a hoist with an adjustable reach you need to remember that the weight lift decreases the more the boom is extended. A 500Kg Machine Mart one drops to 150KG on position 4 A 1000KG one only drops to 250KG on Position4.
  8. LOL!!! Thats funny Bri. He has thousands of cheap items in his shop but there are a few more like this. clearly a glitch with his uploading software... Or an operation error:yes:
  9. You could just have rubbed the scrape down and painted it. Getting rid if the whole car seems a bit extreme:innocent:
  10. Probably about 3 miles for me but I wouldnt turn up even if you paid me appearance money.. Great day out for sheep cows n tractors plus their owners.....:innocent: IMHO of course. Sorry Mark but a static country show is just not my idea of a nice day out with my 300Z Farmers, their wives, their kidz AND their collies will be queuing up all day to ask "Wot is it Mister?" and "How fast is it?":yes::yes:
  11. Agreed they just slot in from the front. You just need to be careful with the Tiger Seal . I dont see how removing the bumper is going to help much.

LOL!!!!! I have only just seen this! Mine is fully mapped so no good to me.
  14. I am 3 months into a major 6 month house restoration .... so no time spare atm. Easter Monday when I saw you at Cadwell was my only trip out in 3 months. I did charge the battery on mine this week too but it hasnt moved an inch this year so far:angry:
  15. They are/were around £90 from Nissan UK. So these are very keen priced, IMO
  16. Google is your friend!!.............................http://www.timeattack.co.uk/index.php/2013-calendar
  17. In Time Attack you need to have a set of "dry" tyres and a set of "wets". Wets need to be worn if the organizers call a wet race condition. This picture is with the "wets" on the bronze Volks. It was my first job this morning to get the car changed to the dry /silver coloured Volks that it is usually pictured with, Sadly it was the only job i did apart from assisting in getting it back on the trailer,
  18. Talking of Jimmer.... here are a couple of pics of him with Jaffas car. He seems to be pointing to something on the back of the car?? I wonder if its the "Powerzed" sticker???:biggrin: As already said Jaffa came third in RWD clubman division only a couple of hundredths of a sec behind Ronnie Amis in his Sierra Cosworth. One of the most experienced and quick men in the class. This was a superb effort for James who deserves to be congratulaed for it. Im sure he will pop along tomorrow to tell you more about his day.....
  19. Here are a few general pics I took .......................... Jimmer has some better "action" pics of Jaffa. Im sure he will post them tomorrow.
  20. So.... back to the early morning with both slicktops looking good and ready for action. Sadly Bob had an "off" in practice and damaged the car as you have already seen. It was not useable. Bob was not injured and the car is fixable. I dont really want to discuss this any more tonite as Im still quite upset about it myself..
  21. Time attack is a very brutal and unforgiving type of motorsport. It might just look like a few practise laps and no real racing .........But nothing could be further from the truth. There are a lot of damaged and broken motors heading home tonite.
  22. Well Im just back home now. A long and cold day. Thankfully Bob is not injured just a bit shaken. I have some pictures and can add more info after I have a coffee and get settled here. I have been out of the house since 6.30 this morning. Jaffa came 3rd in Club RWD. Talk later
  23. Cadwell Park is "Open Pits" so you and anyone else attending are welcome to pop in and say "hello":thumbup1: Bob and me can be a bit grumpy on occasion:glare: especially when we get "joe public" asking silly questions or even worse ...trying to tell us what to do with the car and how their 1.4 fiesta turbo is faster:asshole: 300Zx.co.uk members all welcome tho:yes: Check out Bobs "page" on Time Attack....http://www.timeattack.co.uk/index.php/teams-drivers/item/164-robert-dixon That untidy back garden looks familiar.:innocent: LOL!!!!!
  24. Both Jaffa(James Morgan) and Bobgenie(Bob Dixon) are confirmed entries and both have working cars!! I will be in the pits with Bob and we hope to get Jaffa pitted along side us. Bob has some support on the day from Eurospec and Jimmer (Power Zed) is assisting James.
