50th Anniversary Celebration and parade lap at Silverstone (Japfest 5th May 2019)
Time is ticking on on this. Track time is aways popular so it would be good to get access to "Club" tracktime slots soon. You need a club access code for this which some clubs will have by now.

clutch master cylinder
My advice is ....dont go there.

clutch master cylinder
Just undo the two fixing nuts on the cylinder. . As Jeff says it appears you have an NA setup without a booster on the pedal inside the car. If the cylinder still stays in place then that will prove to you that it is still attached to the pedal as per NA picture. Alternatively look up at the top of the pedal under the dash. Can you see a black booster?? If not then once again its an NA clyinder.

Happy Burns day.
Burns most well known character Tam O'shanter actually drank ale... "But to our tale:—Ae market night, Tam had got planted unco right, Fast by an ingle, bleezing finely, Wi' reaming swats that drank divinely; And at his elbow, Souter Johnie, His ancient, trusty, drouthy crony: Tam lo'ed him like a vera brither; They had been fou for weeks thegither. The night drave on wi' sangs and clatter; And ay the ale was growing better: ".

Penetrating fluid - Recommendations?
I have this in my arsenal. In fact I have just used it this afternoon to remove a lambda sensor that had been in an exhaust since the car was made in 2003. 5 minutes of flame then 18" pipe wrench... job done. I rarely have time to soak stuff in Plus Gas or similar "magic" fluids and wait till the following day to see if it works. I need results NOW!!

Wheel hub centre bore
My personal opinion....... I never use a 5mm "universal" flat spacer with all those funny shape holes in them. They will warp and lose torque on the wheel nuts as they heat up and cool down. I run a 10 mm spacer on the front of my slicktop like this.......... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Eibach-10mm-Hub-Centric-Pro-Wheel-Spacers-5x114-3-PCD-M12x1-25-66mm-CB/142845245045?fits=Car+Make%3ANissan&hash=item21423d7675:g:vakAAOSwmSZbMe7J:rk:1:pf:1&frcectupt=true This mounts flat and safe on the hub. You then put the spigot ring on it and then the wheel.

A good used condition copy of this popular book. Written by Ray Hutton. It looks like it was £22.50 So just add £2.95 postage to that if you want it.

Stenson Bubble meet Jan 2006!!
Yep. Not enough members and not enough going on to fill/justify any sort of magazine. It was owned then by Darren(Manta V8) and his other half. It then went to someone in Sheffield who was on here IIRC Now I dont know. It is/was one of the oldest Z32s in the UK on an F plate here so 1989 registered in Japan.

Luke Borg. Z Centre.
Luke was operating his "Z Centre" business before the Z32 was even launched. Here is an advert from 1988!!

Fuel smell in engine bay!!
Thanks for all the comments guys. New pipes all installed and tested. Most of the pipes looked like original Nissan stuff so after 20+ years they were ready for changing. As Jeff said it looks like that short pipe had non injection hose fitted at some time before I had it. Its all been fine for the last 6 years I have been using the car but now its all new and the correct grade. I have just reused the older style clips . Im sure they will be fine.

Fuel smell in engine bay!!
In essence it is a simple job but just a PITA to do. It will all be fixed and put back tonite or tomorro.
-
Fuel smell in engine bay!!
When you get a fuel smell in the engine bay it's always the little hoses buried in the middle that are to blame!:thumbup1: Why is it never the easy ones ?? Im gonna change them all as Andrew G told me off about the state of the one near the fuel filter a few weeks ago:tt2:
