Bubble is a good location IMO However another Midlands member has put forward another good place in the same area with extensive car parks and a lake. etc. Described as good for a summer "open air" type meet. More details to follow.Not a frequent poster so be patient! LOL

I dont think Paul comes on here much, but he is quite well known and respected in the Midlands/Notts area. Usually seen at all the Major shows under his Knightsbridge trading name.

A big thanks to Skyline Dave for organizing this one. A great turnout as is now usual at Midlands meets. Too many of us turned up to get on the reserved table at one time so we had to have two shifts. :D Hardly surprising given that this was Mothers Day. I felt that we were made very welcome here. The food was good, well priced and for such a busy day the service was good too. Several cameras were in action so I will just post this shot of the "second sitting" LOL! BTW ...apologies to Shel who was facing the wrong way when I pressed the button! :o

As we still have no official organizer I thought I might put up a couple of dates and places for the next 2 months for discussion. Firstly,DATES. Keeping to the rough 4 week cycle gives us .... April 15 (weekend after Easter) May 13th. LOCATIONS. Both the above are Jap car Sundays at The Bubble Inn Stenson. ( see http://www.davewilkinsgtr.co.uk) Also ... what about a trip to the Lord Ted at Newark?? So here is my suggestion............. SUN 15TH APRIL. LORD TED.Newark.................................. SUN 13TH MAY. STENSON BUBBLE. this avoids a clash with Easter in April and Japfest in May(19th) So....... what do you think??????? Any better ideas??? Does somebody new want to organize one for June???? Jun 10th is the 4 week day. I will start a separate thread in a week or so for the April date if it gets your vote?? Comments etc.. please. Everyone is entitled to their say.

the trims on my damaged- repaired shell were no good so I decided to go with a smoothed in roof. I sympathise with you on fitting. Even removal is a PITA.

You can get some "made to order " ones from Mike at MJP. I will probably need to go down this route too as I suspect the Eibachs I have will be far too highy rated to allow proper weight transfer on launch.

Finally got the colour right. I have seen loadsa colour change cars ruined by opening the bonnet to find the original colour still there..... so I wont be going down that cheap n nasty route. :rolleyes: Just got the engine bay finished today. :dance: the combination of flash, neon tubes and 150W halogen lights doesnt give a true colour but its all shiny. Time to get some wiring back now!! :cool:

You now need a Noid light to check for a signal at that injector. Simple test and one that Andy Duff told me about recently. so I bought a set.

May be a low chance but in any logical test procedure you need to eliminate the possibility by swapping them with known good ones. Then work down the wire route to the PTU and beyond. One logical test at a time will always(eventually!) lead to the problem.
