  1. Can anyone help Paul who has no PC access?? He just called me but I know nothing about boost controllers etc. Basically he want to know if a boost controller and or AVCR thingy will loose the settings if the battery is disconnected overnite??? Please?? Hes calling me back later. Or someone who knows can PM me their phone number so I can pass it on??
  2. Perhaps not blind but there are some facts to be considered. First one is the fact that very few cars are sold privately in the £5K price bracket. this is normally the territory of Dealer sales . Im not talking just zeds, I mean all car sales. Secondly.asking any private buyer to decide on a £5k sale in less than 7 days is a tall order. thirdly , your advert is rather dictatorial in style and not very user friendly. In fact some things verge on the point of arrogance. Eg "first person to see WILL buy"??????? Says who??? "No rust obviously". ???? Then there are some arrogant opinions.eg "I think it looks better than standard" then there is the glaring omission of any explanation as to why you are selling it the minute after you have bought it. That is really offputting and will make any potential buyer think there is something dodgy going on. (even if there isnt). And then there is the "offer" of some self employed mechanic "writing out " bills to prove work was done months after it may or may not have been done. Well if that doesnt sound dodgy then you have a very naive view of life in the motor trade. Now we come to ICE. Adding £1500 or whatever figure of ICE to a car adds zero to its value. Same applies to the body kit. 50% or more of the car buying public would want to remove it. Ask any Late model Used car salesman about the effect of body kits on retail prices. Same applies to your custom interior. Stock back leather interior will widen the appeal of the car. Im sorry to post all this negative stuff but its not personal against you its just the facts of the motor trade basically. My personal opinion on price doesnt matter as Im not looking to buy a car ATM
  3. No mate..... We are on a ......NON STOP juourney to Silverstone. Stopping again anywhere near the A 43 will just mean being further down the queue to get in. :nono: We will all be there all day so plenty of time to catch up with the rest of you guys !!
  4. We are meeting at Trowell Services Southbound at 6.30AM. NON STOP JOURNEY to Silverstone. Anyone else????? :hyper: So Far.... 1 Manta V8 2 Boldy. 3 Slick Pete.
  5. Myself and other Z Club members have queued for OVER 2 hours to get in to various Trax events. Leaving the M1 at 8.00am to turn on to the A43 and only made it to the club area by 10.30. Some members actually gave up and went home after being removed from the outside lane of the dual carriageway by the police.. Things may be different now. Last one I went to was Trax 2004 I think. But there is STILl only one narrow lane entrance to Silverstone from the A43.
  6. Avoid a queue??? at Silverstone?? At 9.00am?? You are joking. AFAIC you will need to be arriving before 8.00am at to have any chance of getting in at all.
