  1. Yep, not a mark on it. Despite the fact that it had to be racheted down to hold it in the trailer. I have to say that Ed didnt whittle too much during the journey back. LOL!! As said its all very nice n clean. Just got to get rid of that naff chrome look paint and polish it up instead. Probably gonna add one of my chrome balance bars too!!  Currentley hidden away at my place till the spanner men are ready to install it. :hyper: Best to be at mine so Ed cant undo anything and break it!! :nono:
  2. Make sure it is warm all the way round first and check that the sealer is nice and soft BEFORE you start prising owt!!! And leave the sealer in place. Dont clean it off, just warm it up for the unit to go back in.
  3. A young child's worst nightmare........to be left alone in the dark in a room in a foreign country and have no idea where your parents are.
  4. Top class daughter with a top class Dad.(and Mum) Respect. to you all.
  5. Mine came from Machine Mart. Has the screw in fitting and also The push in rubber adaptor for other non std plug sizes. Cant remember how much. Had it for ages. Like the Noid light set it pays for itself on one job.
  6. And here is one of the re-paneled shell all nice n straight.
  7. Here ya.go then these are from late summer last year when it was pulled straight. At the time a few airheads said it was only a little bump and could be fixed in half a day etc.... the truth was that the entire shell was twisted and the sill was so badly damaged that we had to put all three layers in from another shell. See pics....
  8. If the car has just been MOTd and passed APART from tyre wear then the top arms cant be that badly worn. the fact that the front of the car is low either deliberately or thru saggy springs deffo will resultin excessive camber. Two simple and cheap alternatives to fix this. New or good S/h front springs(stock) Or pack/shim out the existing top arms. A simple mechanical camber guage will give a good enough reading . Get it done now to see how many degrees out it is. Then pack out the mounting bolts with a thick washer and re check. If its not about correct then you will have the data that a x mm washer alters it by y degrees. Re-shim according to this data and voila.... it will be near enough right!! Longer term... save up for fancy new adjustable kit, but meantime the car will be OK to drive. Cheap... simple....... bit like me really!!! :wack:
  9. Yeh, something to do with a dog with a bad attitude to cars I believe! Ive also put the wing on that came with the car  TBH I may change the bumper to NA spec.
  10. Im NOT spending ANY money on this one.
  11. Its TEMPORARY!!!!(and it was cheap!!!!)
  12. Not missing.... just removed to change the wing. I need to remove the gurgler boxes as well ... before re-fitting the liners. Stock rims maybe but Brand new Falken 245/45-16s on the back and nearly new Semperits on the front when I got it!! I have just been out in it tonite for a first run down the bypass and back. Welll pleased .. drives nicely

  14. Just use some Farecla G3 liquid. Works like magic. Will work even with 1200 or 1000 grit paper. Have done several sets of lights with this method. Also good for removing "tint" spray from rear lights!!

  17. almost without exception on the Costas the bar owners and waiters have learnt enough English to serve the Brits. They are proud to show this off to you and believe it will be easier for you to use English in their bar/restaurant/Hotel etc. Many tourist attractions in the main cities will also be able to do a little English. However the moment you move away from the Costas you WILL need your Spanish. for example stepping off the bus in a town like Montilla on the way to Cordoba from Malaga you will be hard pressed to find anyone in town who speaks English and neither will the bus driver or any of the other passengers. And as often say to Spaniards who remark to me that my Spanish is pretty good....Vale la pena hacer el esfuerzo!!!
  18. Was on the web before Easter when I saw it. TBH Slicktops dont actually sell very well. They only appeal to a limited number of people.
  19. It was only £2500 on autotrader  . not much good for modding tho as it will want a Cat test MOT every year.

  22. Only problem with this is the fact that in July there is already Billing/AGM show weekend JAE at Peterborough weekend and some of us have an invitational track day weekend too. Gonna be a busy month July!!!
  23. No No!! You are just having a laugh I know. One solution is to get a pair of height adjustable coilovers. I know that makes your current front pair redundant. Only other way is trial and error on some different lowered front springs. I have a motor just come in on really low springs at the front which I dont like. possible swap???
  24. :slap: :slap: The price of yer coil pack bkts has just doubled. LOL!! :smash:
