  1. No. No cutting. Just make a new 2 wire adaptor loom as I said. Using the old indicator loom adds another join in the system. Not a good idea. Just pop round in the morning its only a 15min job.
  2. all you need to do is make a short two wire adaptor loom. No cutting needed. And Deffo avoid them orrible Scotchlock splice things. They are the work of the devil and should be outlawed. as already said some small crimp on male and female spades of the size used on speakers is all you need. When they are all pushed on a small dab of non setting silicone will keep the damp/wet out and avoid issues in the fiture. No cutting. No splicing. No superglueing. Simples!!
  3. No its the other way mate. The rears will sit too far out and the fronts will sit too far in.. these are +ve figures not -ve Stick very close to the numbers in the thread I linked. Ie +20 front +35 rear.

  6. Accepted.... the bit you can see on the outside is only slight. Its what lies hidden that will be much more extensive. There are plenty of threads on this forum now to look at to show the extent of rust is now attacking the Z32. Many members are now moving into proper restoration to keep the cars in top nick.
  7. Its not a comparable product really. Redline MT90 is as its name suggests a 75-90 oil. the castrol stuff is 75-140. We have our own approved oil supplier on this forum.....Opie Oils Check it out for all the info you need or call the man himself tomorrow for a one to one view.
  8. Depends what is meant by "normal painkillers". Pain mangement is not a simple subject. There is a big range of painkillers in various forms available to GPs from simple tablets all the way to self controlled syringe drivers. Getting the right combination for each patient isnt easy but in my long years of experience effective pain control is achievable in nearly all patients and all stages of illness up to and including the final weeks in terminal cases. My professional code of conduct would not allow me to advocate or endorse the use of anything illegal. Best to call me if you need any help or just want to talk 07778 411568.
  9. Just out of interest what power and torque are you making???
  10. As Paul/Smithy has already tried to tell you nothing is "sure" until you have the g.box off and remove the clutch. If your flywheel was badly scored before then this could prevent the clutch holding more power. You might of course just have to accept the fact that a single organic plate(no matter how good) will not hold the power you are making under aggressive driving. In which case you will need to be looking at other/more expensive options.
  11. i use my trusty Ford Mundane diesel estate to tow Zeds on trailers. Make sure the trailer you are using has proper brakes that work. Also important to get the nose weight just right. Too light and you will get nasty trailer snake. Too heavy and your tow car steering/handling will be dodgy. Im not entirely sure its all legal  Max speed 60mph. allow double your normal braking distance. Care needed on picking away from rest.
  12. the bronze stuff is quite soft. I hate to suggest it but maybe you damaged it just a fraction putting it in??? IMO you might be OK if you chamfer the leading edge a little to help locate the shaft. Or buy another bush(only cheap) and put it in the freezer first before fitting..
  13. well here are 2 more questions.... Is it a phosphor bronze bush??? How did you fit it??
  14. Indeed. Just do yer own thing. We, the members of this forum are a diverse bunch..... we can never agree on which variant of the car is best, which colour is fastest. which brakes to have, what spoiler to fit etc etc. So we are never going to agree on these inserts or their colour. What a great club tho....:cool2:
  15. + 1. I know Dave(Car Mad) put a lot of hours into this. I read all the thread and also what Daves Zed posted too. But Im still not convinced that it adds anything to the car. IMHO of course.
  16. The SWB system is different in the angles of the pipework into the boxes etc as well as the overall length. So anything is possible... ie cut it all up and add bits but not likely to be easy or cost effective. Just buy the HKS super drager that I am advertizing on Bobgenies behalf. Its for a LWB.
  17. Interesting! You joined just before me. I am a little ahead on post count. probably most of it to to with trading........... although i do occasionally post up c**p too:punk: And back in the day when we had Chunk as regional meets organizer there was a lot of chatter about meets before and after. Ahhhhh the good old days.
  18. Yep i think my original one was from 2fast 2cool. the same situation arose when Japspeed attempted a group buy on exhausts... A member pointed out that the system was about £20 cheaper on a single buy from 2fast 2cool. Always check Ebay before you buy anything. Now there is a lot of sh*t on ebay but when you see a power seller with a shop and a feedback of thousands then its usually pretty safe to say that they are an honest and reliable seller.
  19. Well you can delete it if you feel its not appropriate . im not that bothered. its a harsh commercial world out there and money is tight. i have bought six or seven shifters(not 300ZX) from 800bhp and been well satisfied. They have been available on ebay for 5/6 years from various sellers for the 300ZX. I bought one in 2005. It was cheap as chips and is still going strong on my old car now driven by Mackam Maz. I thought the whole point of a group buy was to get a better deal and save money.
  20. Maybe its just me... but I;m puzzled by the attraction of joining a group buy for a short shifter at £40 whan you can buy one any day of the week from 800BHP power seller on Ebay for £33 ???? At the end of the day they are all the same and are mass produced in Taiwan or one of its neighbours.
  21. dave could you fit a 10" rear with those offsets??? Like my original Azevs or would the offset need altering slightly??
  22. Just ring him. It will be quicker and easier. 01277 374201
