  3. lovely exercise and fantastic way to finish the car but boy o boy is taht gonna be an ass to keep clean. i do also feel liek ive been hit round the head by the bling branch. i dont doubt upclose and in person in teh sun tahst a serious thing of beauty
  4. my father in law has had a long line of cameros firebirds and transams(all teh same car uneath interestingly) and several buicks and silly pink things. his freind has a small collection of all things yank. he once asked him how he decided which to drive to each show. the reply was simple. "which ever starts first." the trans am he had most recently a 1978 in bklack and gold, housed a 5.7 litre chevy engine the 6.6 litre block had be swapped out and this tunned little block dropped in. well i can honestly say i loved it and i will be buying one at some point in my life, but as a daily idea, its a no go. once you have one you will realise why, you cant park it anywhere. not only because people will want to steal, scratch or dink it. but because they are huge, they dont fit anywhere, the zed was a fly weight comparitivly size wise. it lived in a double length garage, and took up pretty much the whole thing with about enough space left for a chest freezer. the later 90s ones are a bit easier to live with but no where near as pretty just as probematic and just as juicey. if you want a daily muscle car i think a vette or a new shape mustang are gonna be your best bet. the classic just dont fit down an english road.
  5. If you need my van to collect it phil let me know. Can you text me gazes number bud

  9. yeh i hav to agree with dave its basic science this one, black absorbs heat white reflects it. thats why if you wear dark colours in a hot country you will bake pale colours will keep you cool. polar bears are infact black, well there skin is this helps draw in and retain heat, the fur itself is clear, so they appear white. anyways yeh black holds heat.
  10. the uk zeds have a few little things that make them more suitable for driving at faster speeds, the jap autos do not come with a seperate transmission cooler for example. apprantly this is becuase of the topography of japan they just dont have the same road structure as us. so the uk zed recived a few tweaks to keep it in line for our twisties and our motorways. how much difference it truly makes...... thats open to interpretation.
  11. im on a budjet atm so ive been looking about trying to put some part worns on the front, the rim width is 235, im thinking that putting on a 225 would have very little difference to anything apart from saving cash as they seem more common. esp if i used a 225/40/18 instead of a 235/35/18. any thoughts on thing? also is there any hazzard of going smaller im not a fan of strech, i dont trust it, but obviously tiny amounts are negliable so what does consitute as tiny? as does teh zed actually require a 225 front tyre?
  12. i think the gt3 version houses a v8 instead of a v6 totally different engine.
  13. Stephen replied to (adl) phoenix's topic in Events - UK

(she isnt) anyway as revenge ive started by removing all the owr leads to his belovolved eletrical items computer ps3 etc etc and all teh light bulbs from his room. tmorrow i think i will turn all his chest a drawers upside down meaning that when he opens the drawes the contets will all fall out. hopefully this will be at about 7am. any further suggestions are welcome.
  19. ive looked at the stillen afew times and i too thought about removing teh intercooler bars, the only thing i didnt like is teh way is sits so bluntly, if i sat further back and the lip came up level with the upper deck of bumper then it would be spot on, ive thought of making my own a few times but i havent ever done anything like that before.

  24. everything but the pistons is forged, in the bottom end of the engine. have a look at websites of these comapnies. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/list.php?Car_Type=300&UID=2011091106245479.73.170.230 http://www.z1motorsports.com/index.php may also be worth looking at martins page, he has just finished a car with a huge spec, bobgiene has also just completed a car with a spec around, the mid 600 horse power figures. its a very big project i wish you the best with it. http://www.project300tt.com/ personally i would push you away from the e30 shell, why not get a zed with the engine in it to start with, and all the running gera to match and looks to die for.
  25. i swear recently a member brought a set of oem ones and teh total bill for all pieces both sides was around a grand.
