  6. Hrm many suspension components, shocks limks etc r32s are fairly simular except the engine, and 4wd front end but no real upgrade, r33 bits are often changable as an upgrade bit of trail and error
  7. right after further investigation im assuming the oil comes from the pump through the tree through the filter and then out each port to the various differnt locations there is one that goes directly from the tree to the sump about 10mm internal diameter that is the one i connected upto for the cooler.
  8. you can even pop over to bmth and look at mine if you want. :) or come along to a dorset meet.
  9. once you have taken the cluster out you see how easy it is to clock a zed, without any outside signs. so as gary said go on condition not milage. unless its backed up in paper. my car has appratly done 89000 but i dont believe that.
  10. i dunno what your laughing at dave, this is serious stuff. :whistling: shame that guys not a member here to do us nice little bits and bobs. :pinch:
  11. there is a chap on ebay who has a shop, ive had his version of this spoiler in fibreglass. fitment quality and packaging was all very good. what was the company name hrm.... car.mad styling i think? :)
  12. what are the various take offs on the tree for, some time back i noticed my oil cooler had been disconnected and im starting to wonder if i put it back right. i did look on the manual and that didnt seem to help.... its all a bit not comlicated but messy down there.
  13. there is a way of doing this with a hairdryer some tennis balls and some glue.
  14. well thats andy car isnt it hopefully he will be able to answer but ive been wondering this also as even at my ride height not that low it rubs on high speed corners.
  15. they just run along the wing and then down the firwall into a plug in the box which has a plastic cover looks like a c shape with a circle inside. unplug on the wing then pull through.
  16. think zedwizz has two sets for sale atm.
  17. il admit i did something simular battery died i cahrged it up with the charger but the cables had been "fixed" took the end clips as gospel and charged the battery reverse polarity when i conneted it up fizz hiss bang. bit of smoke. obviously a new battery was needed. but once i did that everything was fine it hadnt actually blown the fuse or done any damage. taht was about i dunno 9 months ago now.
  18. starter might be duff, you iddnt say wether it was auto or not may be worth jump starting it, take the starter out the equation. good luck.
  19. not seen onebut must be fairly easy just remov ethe tailgate and then tub it. why you would want to though is another question althoughter.
  20. Yup I was quoted 2k for a landy im nearly 26 changed it to full comp 600
  21. Get rid of the corsa itschav label wont help. You want something irregular and not "cool" for cheap insurance or a van, kas are cheap to insure but fold like card
  22. had a simular issue with a steam generator at work the other week on eof the elements overheated blew and caused a direct short to earth(3phase supply) bang, breaker didnt cut in an dit started to melt all the internals. fortunatly someone pulled the plug before it took the building out.
  23. ah thats tthat car saw this on a low loader few months back, going over longham bridge. you need to hook up with us local guys :) you have prob seen my red one phils yellow one and gazes swb black one floating around.
  24. i would say that an na will be more expensive im sure ive been told by a chap who works in insurance that its that way because nas are crashe dmore blah blah blah. more *****x excuses. but i also agree your na moded to a tt will cost more as they will declare it as a modified na. which technically it is. i know this because when i had my capri i looked at throwing a 2.8 lump in it from a 2.8i but as it was a 2.0 from factory it was going to cost twice the price for what it would to insure a genuine from factory 2.8. your best bet is to declare the orginal tt. so that you have effectivily and with vosas knowlegde reshelled the tt car. i wouldnt advise not declaring your swap, if it was something like you had change dthe internals of the na then i would be turning ablind eye as if they had to investoigate in that much detail you would likley be dead in any event. or in serious shit that would make the other bit irrelivant. however the tt engine sitting in there is a bit how do they say in france......... er...........obvious.
  25. yeah i was never planning to push it... if you get me but rather have the opertunity to open her up good and proper without fear of the rozzers.
