  1. well while the engines out il be deleting the air con, unfortunately it is still full of gas and the cars indoors engineless off the floor. whats the best way forward? pretty Poisonous stuff isnt it?
  2. hrm yeah i spose from what i understand its the rear seal so it venting directly into the exhaust tract. wasnt aware it was rare seems to be quite common on stock tubs at least. have you elimated everything else?
  3. another for halfords pro :)
  4. Pop off the exhaust and turbo elbow probally passing oil. Mine looks totally healthy sadly
  5. Its tittled. "seriously disheartened just wanna burn the car now" Haha time will tell I want it back but if it doesnt fix it jesus im gonna be fed up.
  6. Have a look over my thread your describing near on tge same issue.
  7. smoke sucks. currently going through this atm myself although thanks to a few members im pretty sure its the tub seal or two an the block is basically out thanks to hellraiser.

  10. ive been trying to give away two sets same issue mate think where better off scrapping them. or putting winter tyres on them and using them for that. - - - Updated - - - i have a set of stocks andy maybe you could sort something out with gaz as i know hes gotta come pick up the mirror plenum.
  11. just use a bolt that fits with an o'ring that's big enough.
  12. Yup as said one or two that can help but no specialisrs. Ul have to travel outside london :)
  13. sadly as said very little getting twinz within the uk has been a bit of a rocky road funny company. there is a huge gap in the market at present for both rear difusers and front spiltters for the 89 spec. some one needs to pull their finger out and make some cash :)
  14. this is a good point also, and yeah it really is that easy. pop one off find a local supplier and take it in say you want one that will do what you want maybe even take the car quite quickly you will have what you want. :) we did some hydraulically operated stainless steel swimming pool covers. we simply spoke to the company they requested the dimensions weight etc and provided the struts.
  15. just get the spec off them bud phone round your local hydroclics palce pick them up for half the price here in the uk without postage. its only a case of finding one the same size but with a higher rebound rate.
  16. you will probably notice sod all difference lol maybe on the dyno sheet a few horses and maybe when your in lag but zeds arnt over laggy anyways. so i doubt you will ever really even notice in the real world.
  17. I will be I think but if I do wont be till the end of the month.
  18. Oh yes that worked lol
  19. atm he is mostly helping me pull my engine lol.
  20. i love that fresh lacquer look and the smell yum lol - - - Updated - - - i love that fresh lacquer look and the smell yum lol
  21. pzeros are pretty good on grip, i have them on the rear. Porsche choose to fit them to their cars. However they do last a mere 10 odd thousand miles and the grip drops off radically when they get below 4mm according to reviews. So they work out VERY expensive. the fk 452s made by falken are often used and are a good "budget" tyre. they are very similar in design and i believe are actually produced in the same factory as dunlops. toyo proxis are again a very well used and appraised "budget" tyre. cant comment on the maxxis but i know marks said before hes a big fan. others on here praise contis and Michelin pilot sports. upto you see what prices you can afford and get the best you can afford and bear in mind what you expect from them. if you go fitting some cheapo budget ditch finders you will soon find yourself finding that ditch :) as for colour, if your gloss paint is spotless. then satin wheels can look the dogs on a gloss black car. gloss black wheels tend to work imo better on grey or red cars.
  22. hellraisers mrs recently ran a pub so he may be a good person to speak to and it was doing very well...long story. but yeah may be worth having a chat with him.
  23. i think the only difference is the stiffness or rebound rate something along those lines due to the weight distrubution. i seem to remeber miester doing lwb and lwb for this reason. but psychcally they would fit depends what you want out the car doesnt it.
  24. anyway of getting them enbedded so i dont have to download?
  25. i do say i have to agree its not his fault(the police) more the little thieving t w a t that ran out infront of you. i do feel your pain though.
