  1. The zeds stock boost gauge doesn't read upto 20 psi mate.
  2. Z idles at around neg 9psi but that's all the numbers you get. Sure the pulsar is reading in psi not hmgm or what ever that jap measurement is.
  3. That would be the first late start this week. I'm out of the house about 5 most days. Yes even on a Saturday lol.
  4. Do the reverse switch aswel, they are cheap here though use an xtrail one it's the same and a third of the price. Also gear stock bushes.
  5. Early start anyone, ie before anyone else arrives haha
  6. You only create positive pressure or boost over a certain rpm. Roughly 3500k for a stockish car, obviously when you change gear come off boost etcs vacuum is recreated and stored there by the one way valve. Off boost the car produces roughly 7-9psi of vacuum pressure. Watch your boost gauge swing negative to positive whilst driving.
  7. I assume we will be static and not allowed to take a blitz round said track lol?
  8. Free lower plenum gaskets are what he needs.
  9. What part of this glorious country you home from.
  10. There will be myself and her indoors in mine. 89 Jspec tt Stephen Crowhurst with Katie Markley A16 0MF
  11. Don't they have a habit of blowing hg aswel?
  12. There were loads of nice looking clean na's when I was buying mine, my dad kept suggesting them. I knew I had to get a tt, if I had got an na I'd be wishing I got a tt. Same with my old car I had a 2l but always wanted the 2.8
  13. Highlights it beautifully, I'm pretty sure jeff isn't a fan of the gates either.
  14. I checked it its actually the A371 at castle carry train station. Fricking annoying where ever it is lol.
  15. Firstly buy one lol. Secondly yeah just come along and support the club.
  16. Oh it's already wired up just dunno if it's working :)
  17. Just invade anyone's planning on going that way the a37 is closed ATM about half way up, no diversion nothing. Grrr
  18. Il have a chat with my mate see if we can get data scan on the go. If I can't be doing with the neutral switch can I just set the base timing to 25 btdc. What I'm more concerned with is working out accurately what my timing is as I have I timing marks on the crank pulley.
  19. It's my understanding that when the car is put in gear the timing should change. This should be noticeable on the rev counter, well it's not. Revs raise when you depress the clutch then stay the same as you select a gear. Trouble is my bottom pulley has no marks on it.... So what should I do first?
  20. The fsm recommends 5psi, this is because your pressurising part of the system that operates under vacuum only during running conditions. As a result of that you will be applying positive pressure to the heads and oil system via the breather system. If your pcvs are deleted this is irrelivant. It's those two tubes that connect from the cam covers to the accordion pipes that cause the issue. Over pressurising 20+ year old seals is a bad idea.
  21. I'm working up there so il be in the caddy. I don't actually know what I'm doing there yet, something to do with output pumps.....vague lol.
  22. I'm up your way tomorrow Si, place called Congresbury.
