  1. Letting it sit an idle once a week or whatever probably won't help at all. Either store it away safely or drive it throughout.
  2. My question from the basic understanding of what it is is how does your car work without it!
  3. Yes. I would advise it, nearer and simpler than capping the take offs on the front pipes. :D
  4. There should be no positive pressure at idle check your boost gauge is at a vacuum reading.

I wanted you to add yourself, il text you and explain why :)
  7. Agreed you have to drive it, get it properly warm and under load, you shouldn't let your engine warm up sat still anyways it isn't the best for it. Is it road legal ATM?

I found a map the other day comprising the areas. I think technically your south west, however as you say it isn't that far so registering yourself as south Central is fine I Spose. As for your friends do they have email in anyway shape or form? Even if they do not wish to regularly frequent the forum they could still join and then be in loop for show events etc. I'm hoping to produce a accurate members list and further to it a mailing list for the region, that way those that don't come on often will still be able to keep upto date via the pm or email system :)

  11. I thought you may say that, which Is why I also mentioned the beaver tail.
  12. My mrs car does this as she never drives it more than a mile. I wouldn't worry too much, will likely clear after a run.

Evening guys can we have a show of hands please, it strikes me that list is a bit out of date. So if we could start a new one with current members I think that would be a smart move.
  14. Just for anyone who is undecided, yes its a long way off but now Is the time giving plenty of time for arrangement's to be made. Access to this event is pretty good, its just off the m4 so pretty easy to access from almost the whole country which is rare. With both time attack cars coming and an amount of track time available there's plenty there for the members who want a bit more go than show. Previous years have had a good turn out with the same faces being seen each year, plus the breakie is good and reasonably priced. Ive also driven in and out without quing for the last two years on the trot, just gotta get up on time. If the demand is there we can sort out an early bird convoy near the m4 roll in on time on mass.
  15. oh dear...some are easier than others, they can all be done without removing the plenum with some modifications though.
  16. Probably be cheaper to hire a trailer or beaver tail.
  17. I googled it as I didn't know think it's a fuelling relay, it's related to shut down procedure. There's a fair bit on thereof you type in EGI relay 300zx
  18. How do you mean you get nothing... You get a resistance of 0? Silly question but is it clean? Or is it green?
  19. Sure the injector itself is faulty? Not the connection?
  20. The words surface rust ring alarm bells. However it looks tidy and some money has been spent recently it might just be a honest seller. Always best to view in person.
  21. Pm on its way rich.
  22. I know how it is rich, like blood from a stone sometimes. My point is, we originally started discussing the 25 years months ago, as something special takes time. Lots of time has past and very little has occurred, publically anyway at least. The new year is fast approaching and the show season with it, once the season kicks off it's going to be hard pushed to arrange and slot in a "25th anniversary" we all know how time flys. Without getting on it ASAP we are in real danger of simply tagging it on as a hoorah at bloody JAE, this simply isn't suitable. I wanna see big, 25th anniversary stickers articles in the glossies etc. I'm not expecting to make these statements and sit back waiting for it to happen. I'm keen to do what I can, you know that, I have the very best intentions for the marque and this owners club.
  23. I can see that quickly falling under the rug, very little had been discuses let alone implemented as far as I'm aware.
