  1. Seen that car in the flesh more than once, nice bit of metal.
  2. I also need to do this.
  3. As bri said, but if injection style fuel hose will be ideal.
  4. Just use a second hand (give it a good flush) tt rad in the tt shell then. The oil cooler inbuilt in auto rads is simply a self contained loop, leaving the take offs open will have no bearing. So you can use either in your manual car. Are you putting an na engine in a tt shell?
  5. Most go for a semi synth 10/40
  6. So it must me the rack return line.
  7. I'm doing an event locally on the friday, and I was planning on another in my area on the Sunday although that's looking less likely due to work loads. Otherwise I woulda come up, the gorge has been on my list for a while.
  8. How light do you want it to be? Tbh compared to today's sports cars it's pretty light. Weighing in about the same as a mondeo with 2/3 times the power. Most of the people going on Bout the z being very heavy do some from a car weighing only around 200kg less, let's be fair picking up a fat chick could be just as detrimental to your car, at least the zed isnt embarrassing to be seen with. A common comment from Civic owners is haven't you heard of power to weight, the z is soo heavy. Some simple maths reveals 150 odd hp per tonne in the civic and 200 odd in the Z, silly kids.
  9. Lol, we ain't never dun seen dem forgins, Ase we Greg. There's a world of idoits, arseholes and combinations of both out there. I can spot the city drivers who live their driving life at a max of 30mph and cannot navigate an A road for toffees. I do recon we should remove all the sign posts though so all them city types get lost when they come round here.... Haha
  10. The reservoir is feeds the pump via a 22mm diameter line which is low pressure, two high lines come off the pump one to the hicas ultimately and the other to the ps rack. These then return to the resi pot, obv one via the HICAS. Arnt you deleting the hicas soon?
  11. Ahh that one. I believe that loops down through the nose then out the back. If it returns to the pot it's low pressure, so should be fine.
  12. ... Struggling to get my head round it. What it sounds like is you've cut the high pressure feed line the rack from the pump. You want a Jspec high pressure line.
  13. Yeah, I'm paid up for a session at japfest :)
  14. Cheers Bri. Photo hides a million sins lol. On a more exciting note I did order my helmet from demontweeks.
  15. Roof bars and door sails de carbon wraped and re done in gloss black wrap. Found a nasty chip in my door as well, can't catch a break body work wise ATM, gonna have to spray the whole damn car at this rate....
  16. I regularly roll down the middle lane passing people doing 60 in the "fast" lane. What they are overtaking in that lane I dunno because no ones using the middle lane.
  17. I'm guessing your route will be m3, a34 then m4?
  18. Some people just don't like being behind anyone, I don't know why. I had it the other day I attempted to make a perfectly safe over take of a focus doing 40 in a 60. Rather than living with this instead he moved into the middle off the road to block my path and slammed the brakes on, I didn't panic (never do, it's not a good thing lol) and used the available space to stop myself colliding with him, he then accelerated and wouldn't let me back on the right side. I was forced to give up by that point and merge back in. He then resumed his 40mph. I regularly get people under taking me after round abouts, I'm indicating left to move back in after passing a lorry etc, when honk some idiot is weaving between the lorry and undertaking me. How they don't get that I can't see you when your impatiently trying to undertake me, I don't have rear a veiw mirror it's a van stupid. rather than letting me move out your way as per the indicated signal I'm giving. People moan about white van men, honestly though being a slow white box people show you no thought. A friend of mine had a similar issue using a filter lane, the guy chased him down the road pulled in front of him and tried to block him in. Then got out with a baseball bat. My mate managed to zip round and get away. The shocking thing was the bloke had his kids in the car! Some real psychos out there as well as complete brainless idiots.
  19. I went there a few months back, Battle Abby school.
  20. Sort of but far less intense.
  21. It's so they can be adjusted with the boot trim in place, which sits a fair bit higher over the strut top.
  22. I could make a suggestion... However it would require some risk and bravery.
  23. Sounds too cheap. The rebuilding of the turbos will cost than that alone and the labour to remove and refit more. I wouldn't be surprised to see quotes of £1300-1500 for turbo replacement. Equally a half decent clutch assembly is going to cost you a fair amount, although labour isn't too bad, few hours. If your turbos are goosed they as units to rebuild are virtually worthless.
  24. For the extra few quid, go splurge on an aftermarket alloy rad. Is it necessary? Not entirely. Will it give you peace of mind and a greater ability to absorb the unforseen? Yes. The stock rads are old now, so the chances of picking up one that's fully clean and unblocked without any damage and able to keep up it's duties is less likely.
