  1. Clutch master rebuild is available through zcentre as I got one from there.
  2. Wicked coatings is down round here, seen that zed a few times, never in the road though. I actually saw ed china and the other chap from wheeler dealers today in fact.
  3. Real shame, very little interest has been shown for bournemouth wheels festival coming up fast, which I will likely at this rate have to cancel. I attended wheels day in Guildford today, mostly yank stuff. One lonely 240 and a twin turbo 350. I left mine at home due to fuel costs atc and we went up in an old audi 80 my friend owns. Last year was pretty good attendance wise, this year although early it seems much harder work. :(
  4. Why don't you decat, then cut in some different quad tip back boxes.
  5. Shit me, hope there's not too much damage your own place.
  6. So in terms of prep, I've now got my helmet an open faced model. Do I need any other safety equipment? Gloves etc?
  7. ;) better options such as grooved discs etc as well.
  8. Nice easy job. The only things to be cautious of is; Don't force the pad out by levering off the piston, you will cause damage and create a leak. Use copper grease on the rear of the pad to sand which the shim. Clean the runners. You should in theory open the bleed valve to spread the pistons on a z32 to avoid damage to the BMC, should. Wear gloves, it's a dirty job and it's a dick having filthy hands for the rest of the week that won't go clean.
  9. Get a pair of TT iron calipers from a UK car and rebuild them. Yours are more than likely due a refurb anyways.
  10. I've been saying for a year or two, a few have agreed and a few have argued the converse, however I would based on those two alone prices are on the rise. That second car wouldn't have made a grand 5 years ago. My jdm tt auto with 80k on the clocks with a fresh paint job cost me 2k. How much zed can you buy for £500 to £1000 a lot less than a few years back. I Spose our unofficial breakers who buy these cars that always turn out to rusty before being added to their junk pile. Keep it up guys. :D
  11. If it works, it works. Did you have it made?
  12. I really like them, just haven't got the space or time for one right now and the prices just keep going up. I must admit the rb block sits in there lovely, that's the beauty of keeping the same cyl layout. Nissan have gradually move away from the L6 motors over time, the z first then the GTRs. I think generally the 6 cyl misers are being phased out, the next zed is rumoured to house a 4cyl biturbo.
  13. Is that a dry sump or just a custom baffled one bob?
  14. Not many people seem to do it. Il tell you what I plan to replace if that helps? Lower arm bushes, Adjustable upper arms, Steering rack bushes, Engine and box mounts, Steering rack bush, That's about it I think.... Tension rod bushes are already done and my steering arms are new from last year. So yeah that about covers it I think.
  15. Prffffff, good luck keeping them that way is all I'm saying.
  16. The worst bit, hands down or upside down as you will likely end up doing it, is the clutch booster. Good luck. Plenty of us have done it so loads of advice if you get stuck.
  17. Rather you than me....it's really not very complex, it is however long winded.
  18. Are they polished or chromed?
  19. Pheasants should be banned from the highways, decapitated one this morning.
  20. I got insured on the zed from a Capri at 21 no issues.
  21. Haha, think how big the fuel tank in a zed is then how much fuel you actually used on this journey, hilarious stuff. I remember driving mine to Cornwall and having vapors left, juicy.
  22. I got mind from MJP very reasonable.
  23. I completely understand where your coming from mate.
