  1. Am I the only one who rather vulturaly wants to see the damage :wack:
  2. My least favourite thing to do everytime is jack the thing up to begin with, it's such a long winded affair. The worst thing I've done is change the oil filter tree in situee, that was great fun.
  3. Have you priced up the Racelogic yet dan?
  4. Ahhhh yes .au didn't spot that earlier.
  5. I now REALLY like it. With the spoiler bonnet etc gone it doesn't look so high off the floor either, optical illusion I know. Like si said some nice simple side skirts and it will tie the lot together and look superb.
  6. Still quite a lot, but this was where I found that price; http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/Parts-Shop/tdm-front-mount-intercooler-kit-435.aspx
  7. That tdm intercooler is like $2500!
  8. Duel intake, not selin if that's possible. Plus I'm quite torn on wether to utilise some 500cc jecs out a scooby now or later.
  9. If I go this way this winter I take it it won't even run right, would it be best to trailer the car to you or to have you burn a starting point onto an ecu then drive it to you? I'm guessing the former is far safer.
  10. Wow a run of bad luck ey. The important thing is your ok, shame a very rare zed has been wrecked in the process though.
  11. Yeah they would just do a visual inspection from the exterior. The sills tend to rot from the inside out though.
  12. I think that's hideous.
  13. Sorry I was referring to Josh's comment.
  14. Did you have smoking turbos caused by excessive crank case pressure by any chance?
  15. For the extra £60 at least you know they will fit :p lol
  16. There was about 2" in Congresbury which isn't far from you last week.
  17. Looks a bit like a z inside, a bit.
  18. Worth further investigation before getting too disheartened. It doesn't always mean catastrophic engine failure, could be a duff valve etc. It's probably not but it could be. I'm in the same boat myself cyl 4 has a similar number to yours amongst other issues lol.
  19. Cheers mate, I'm full of ideas that's half the problem. Finally got the car off the floor today though, won't be long now before I make a significant dent in the work load.
  20. Good work mate. We will both get there lol.
  21. Currently it's all just mental ideas and mind mapping, time is a massive concern presently as the list is already rather long this winter. I'm hoping the switch to a fmic mounted in the old AC rad position will significantly reduce the pipework and subsequently my time where fabricating it is concerned. Otherwise I will plumb for a set of godspeed SMIC and live with the reduction in potential. I need to get it running properly again as my first priority.
  22. You've lost my buisness now anyway Noel, going to use a mines ecu and run 18psi
  23. Yup that's the direction I'm moving in.
