  1. My money would be on the battery. Get it tested, even if it's ok that's that put out the way.
  2. Don't forget we don't charge to let you in, you will however have to pay to return to your homeland.
  3. I'm saying nothing atm, just watching this develop.
  4. I think it's the 25 that eats its oil pump. Which is about as fun to change if not more fun than the turbos in z.
  5. I'd pick an turbo LSx over an RB any day of the week.
  6. Yeah. Dunno why though. RBs are rare and expensive over there, the VG has more aftermarket support over there, is already in the car and mod for mod is more powerful than an RB. Fashion swap imo.
  7. It's a swap that's pretty tried and tested.
  8. Surprising how spacious the bay is with the upper plenum removed isn't it.
  9. Binning the AC is a loss, however the gains from not having it in terms of service work are fantastic. Don't forget to bin the AC rad, that will improve the airflow to your coolant rad a fair bit I recon.
  10. I wonder why it did that specifically. Was the head warped as well?
  11. In truth until you split that block its guess work.... I've seen cars still running with a sump that's like brown milkshake. Every case is different, size, placement etc. Interested to see what's happened though. I recon there will likely be further damage than simply a blown gasket if I'm right though.
  12. Don't forget it's been sat, it may have been gently filling the sump up.
  13. Most likely a failed head gasket, water and oil jacket mixing. Was the coolant normal?
  14. That will likely be a LHD master cylinder that's why bud. Be interesting to see how you've got round that though as its a fair saving. Car looks good.
  15. That's just how they are. Only about 45% have passports, even less have ever left the U.S. So to them America is the world really, hence why they have events called "The World Series" for a game no one else plays
  16. Jesus boy! They have got HOT. I get the outlet one but the accordion pipe is supposed to be cold side.
  17. Yup, I've got a pair. Dug them out today. Il get them boxed up and sent out over the next few days mate if you wanna PM me your address.
  18. You should be able to pull a 6 sec 0-60 in a healthy 2+2 turbo auto. If you can't either it's not healthy, has crap tyres or you can't drive. Book times for turbo models are about mid 5s. With a 2+0 targa tested as a flat 5 back in the day by a professional driver. Getting a zed to 60 quickly isn't about lack of power it's about getting it off the line without excessive wheel spin or bogging down.
  19. As long as your honest mate, there's never an issue really. If you are honest as well then there's no come back.
  20. I'm sure I've got a pair. Il post them out and let you know what the postage is, won't be much mate.
  21. If your in no hurry bud, I'm fairly sure I've got a pair of stock upper camber arms. Front or rear? Pretty sure I've got both. You can have what you need, that way you can remove the bushes have them shot blasted and powder coated and get the new bushes in. Proper job...if you want of corse. Il have a look when I get 10 minutes tomorrow.
  22. Sad day. However he had a really good run, by all accounts the way he treated his body in younger days it's lucky he lived as long as he did. Proper legend. Thankfully I had the chance to see them a few years back. An all time great. RIP
  23. I removed mine, I cannot remember for the life of me how, I don't remember it being complex. I had the rear stripped bare though so maybe that made it easier.
