  1. They'll be able to cut you one bud. It's even possible to get keys cut from photos now believe it or not. You'll be fine.
  2. Your moaning because your missus is doing the housework? Send her round mine lol
  3. I found that via google. I'll try again.
  4. You'll be fine then bud. Key the woodwork first. You won't have to worry about getting a bit of the vinyl Matt on it then. If it's a quality one, it's not too dissimilar to the aqua based undercoat anyhow. Hope life's treating you well Al.
  5. Using the aqua paints (water based) on top of traditional (oil based) paints is fine, but you will need to get a really good key on the gloss, (which you'd do anyway). It can suffer easily from knocks if not as it just 'lays' on top. As you know bud, good decorating is all in the prep. Can I ask why you want to use the aqua? Obviously drying times are a lot quicker and you don't have the smell but as yet it's still an inferior product IMO. If you have the time then use the traditional oil based product. Daffy.
  6. £45 each seems a very good price to me Si. Another nice touch on your Zed :thumbup1:
  7. Slightly misleading if it is the same car. Mrs Barnes sold it to KGF who sold it back to its original owner, he didn't get on with it so sold it back to KGF. They then sold it to a guy who spent a few quid on it as it wasn't quite as described by KGF ( spoke to him when he had it advertised on ebay), who sold it at a classic car show. So it's had at least another owner since then. Not quite the 'same owner for the last 18 years' that the latest ad states. Lovely example either way. I'd love it but a new roof is priority according to the Mrs!
  8. If you are on Facebook then search for 'Wheels by cardhore'. He is well known in mr2 circles for his split rim refurbs. Here is just one example of his work, guys name is James. http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1517677 Daffy. Edit: Facebook pics, https://www.facebook.com/wheelsbycardhore/photos_stream?ref=page_internal
  9. This is how mine looked with extensions when I fitted them . Hope that helps, Daffy.
  10. Thanks a lot guys  Sadly no Zed
  11. Had the same when I was looking for my current van. 'Van' was in Scotland, and if I paid through paypal he'd deliver at his own cost. Yeah right! I'll hand over X amount of thousands on the back of a potential bargain and the promise of a full refund available via paypal!! Told him I'd pay cash or any other way he wanted but needed to view the van and HPI it first. Communication suddenly stopped lol
  12. Just done mine online, as I have done for the last few years, with no problems.
  13. Just seen they are a multi stud wheel. Deffo not rays then. Sorry . Do look similar though.
  14. They could be non original centre caps. The wheels look like rays mazdaspeed MS 01's.
